Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my buddy got excellent results with it.
I feed my dog white rice from our cooker since she doesn't like traditional dog food, dry or wet. She doesn't like dog treats, biscuits, etc. I feed her tinned tuna and rice. canned chicken and rice, sometimes a can of vienna sausages and rice...
Very good and accurate information! I prefer to mix brown, red and a bit of white rice. I add a bit of the black rice-berry rice as well sometimes. The darker rices have more nutrients, but also more fiber (which can cause diarrhea if too much). The blend works very well and is very healthy for dogs. It is very common in Asia to feed dogs meat and rice with small amount of veggies. It should be noted, the majority of kibble is already made with rice too. Rice is much better than corn or wheat. Oats are also good and pasta can be acceptable. But we should be sure not to overdo the carbs and starches. Make sure it is mixed with enough protein and some veggies. There are many good recipe's, probably in the sidebar.

I had a German shepherd he passed away in the age of 17 he ate rice,milk and meat in that 17 years he is healthy and guarded our farm too same goes with cat he passed away in the age of 11
I'm also from the philippines. But I don't feed my dog cooked rice and water. It taste nothing. Try feeding your dog raw meat. Raw duck meat is the best.
Can some boiled rice be mixed with dry dog food? (The dry dog food is 70% meat and 0% grain so don't worry about the food's composition. I'm simply asking if processed kibble and boiled rice is ok to mix). If it's ok, what about some pasta?

If you feed the dog carbs (rice) at night then his/her body might not get the chance to burn the nutrients because night time is not a popular time for play or exercise. Considering dogs doesnt need carbs that much, they need protein more because the dogs anatomy and physiology is designed to process meaty food ( particularly raw ). In short, rice at night might cause bloating to dogs and even unwanted weight, in some cases is obesity. But naaaah. Here in the Philippines , we feed our dogs rice regardless of what meal time it is.

I have read that it hard for some dogs to digest brown rice
My elderly dog was starting to have accidents with bowel movements at night but giving him rice with his food seemed to sort it out

Thai grown jasmine rice is one of the best for arsenic ratio. Regardless of what kind of rice to use it's always good to rinse it first.
