Tay have written a lot of songs. Only 10-15 songs could fit for a standard album. Some publications or critics don't like longer standard album.
As songwriter, Tay had some songs left on her book. She would drop 3 or more songs for Platinum Edition (Fearless) or Deluxe Edition (Speak Now, RED, 1989, folklore, evermore, Midnights and even double album for The Tortured Poets Department, additional copies for business haha.
For Taylor's Version, Taylor still has songs to tell.

Yes, you are right about the red scarf being a metaphor for her losing her virginity-she spoke about the scarf in an Oscar’s interview. She has songs where she says that she wants her girlhood back from John Mayer, but…it was mental games and exposure to things that she was too young to act on. In Dear John…she indicates “I took your matches before fire could catch me”. Another metaphor that she got away without being a victim of his physical damage. The mental damage was done though and it turned her into an adult at 19.

Well…yes!!! I didn’t say she speaks about her virginity. She confirmed what any smart person would conclude about red scarf metaphor and the hurt she exuded performing the song for the first time on stage.

When she was quite young, and during her country period, or just starting to cross-over, she did a live performance during a concert of a song dedicated to her fans, Long Live. I love this performance ! She still sings it at the Eras tour, but I love the original !

I think it's how this guy is reminded of her constantly, whether is the way a kid is naughty and takes a finger to a really elaborate expensive cake the way she would probably take a whole bite and shrug to a groomsman telling a a story during a toast that makes him think of her to the silly kids table to even the first dance.
Or his wife getting a gift that she had.
Or even how she's laughing, people like her, and on a huge stage now.
