I bought that exact model because I wanted something compact with adjustable parallax and good optical performance for a 10/22 Takedown. I agree completely; the quality is genuinely impressive.
Thank you for your reviews. I own an Optika 5 2-10x42 PA too and I really like it. It would be great to have an illuminted reticle. Maybe a Meosport R could be an option for me. How would you compare the two scopes regarding optical quality? Is the Meosport R as good as the Optika5? Thank You and best regards Paul form Germany
I bought one for my cz 457 22wmr. The model I bought has the ZPlus reticle, I am hoping to find it useful for that caliber. Was comparing to leupold rimfire which has it beat for weight, but I think the obvious better turrets and the adjustable parallax cancel out the weight disadvantage. About the only thing I dont like so far is the really big power ring, its out of proportion to the 457. 25% smaller ring would really improve this model
How is the quality of the image when seen from the Opitcka5 in terms of sharpness, brightness and color definition compared to a Leupold of a near similar model? Such as the Optika5 5-20X 50MM vs. a VX-3HD 6.5-20X 40MM

The Meopta Optika 5 is equal to the Leupold in image quality and reliability.
Not a fair comparison due the the Leupold costing over twice as much.
I have that same scope and 2 Optika 6. Aside from the weight they are awesome scopes!
