It's the eyes. Vader's mask has pretty huge eyes with really notable ridges on them, the shape is very specific and is engrained on our memories. Most figures don't really replicate this well, but the more recent Black Series Vaders and now this one do. Man it looks amazing. They need to make another with the broken helmet like in the show!
An alternate head with damaged face mask should have been included. Maybe Hasbro will put this figure out with an unmasked head on a Return Of the Jedi Card. Fisted by Vader.
Haven’t got mine yet but what an outstanding looking figure. My favourite Vader for a while now has been the VC93 A New Hope version (I love the ROTS one but the head popping off constantly and the weirdly long arms always put me off fully appreciating it). Then I didn’t pick up the Rogue One version as, like yourself, I’m not a fan of hard plastic robes on Vader figures. So I didn’t expect VC93 to be topped. But wow… this new Vader figure truly sets a new standard. It looks utterly amazing. Cannot wait to get one!!
@@GNewmaster Also when you said Mark Hamill Did sound to Robotic if you're Talking about from Either Mando Series 2 or Book of Boba for me it I didn't her any of that It did sound like Young Mark Hamill to me so I was impressed by it as well
I commented on previous videos, I know this one is gonna be "outdated" since we'll have the definite OT Vader soon. On that sculpt no less... But this Vader is now the standard for any "regular" TVC from now. It's near perfect. Once preorders can happen for the ROTJ Vader, I'll get two. One I'll open, the other will remain as mint as possible. And yes, I did secure a preorder on the Black Series and will keep it on its card. If I find a "broken bubble" or the "Galaxy" packaging at some point, then it's gonna be the ultimate Black Series Vader. We're so close to get the perfect Vader.
You are correct about the Episode 3 accuracy. The helmet in that film was a little too sleek for my liking. It detracted slightly from its menacing quality.

Great review. Kind of wish you could hold the figure steadier and keep it in focus better though.
