This is one of the best TVC figures released in 2022 with the head sculpt the articulation and the accessory are just on point! Great video O.O.K keep them coming.
Yes finally made it to the big guns, really enjoyed your viewpoint. I got two of these, his cloak just envelopes all his awesomeness. The black series one was not to be sniffed at, but this is next level. The head and neck is just awesome that smooth poseability

Cool review, O1B. You mention the quality of the fabric. I was reading in the Blue Milk TVC book that soft goods are something of a lottery and is difficult to control. When it works, it's stunning eg Wooof, Yak Face, Bib. When it doesn't work, it can seriously harm the aesthetics. Keep up the great vids, ma man! 👍
A fantastic Vader, it took them a few attempts, a bit like Boba Fett, to get it right. I think we’ll no doubt get the damaged Vader with part of the helmet/mask missing.
I think this may be the best 3.75" Vader figure ever made. About a month after I got it I saw the Death Star II figure, which is essentially the same figure with removable helmet and removable right hand. I had to have that one too.
Magnificent figure and card combo👌 If Carlsberg made Vaders … 😁 My fave tvc purchase of 2022. Look forward to see what they do with ROTJ Vader next year👍
Got this again recently to replace my last one. A great great figure. Love the accessories,the articulation,just the whole look of this Vader is great. Definitely one of the best figures that I've had in my last collection,and now my freshly started collection. This is the 4th time I've watched this video lol.
Funnily enough,you mention Dave Prowse. He was born in Bristol,in a place called South mead. Well I was born at Southmead hospital myself, and I grew up just around the corner from where I was born. It's great knowing that Darth Vader was born and lived in the same place as I did.... many years later I must add for myself lol. I've said before on this video, and I'll say it again. This version of Vader I will say so far for me,is the best figure I have brought so far this year. I can't wait until the new Vader (death Star 2) is released. The articulation of this one, together with the removable helmet. And that facial sculpt for the new one looks damn amazing!! Best Vader I've had so far, and only £7.99 from "Game"...... still can't get over that price. In my local Game, this and also Obi Wan(wandering Jedi) have become a bit of a peg warmer lol. There's loads of them. Great video......again,as always 👍
I got this version of Vader purely for my executer scene in my diorama collection, it's awesome that they included alternative hands, more TVC figures need this feature. Obviously I used the pointing finger and fist (on the hip) hands for my particular use.
It's a very gosimar thin Cape.. when flayed out..best when bunched up a bit..hope they release a damaged helmet of him in 6" or TVC..otherwise I go custom..cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻
Yeah that is definitely a great Vader figure, without doubt the best one they have made to date. Lets get that one on an original New Hope card...that would be cool.
As a fan of both BS and TVC, this figure without a doubt was a "rule of two" figure.! Absolutely amazing, brilliant figure. Also I am a Vader junkie so there's that as well lol
It wasn't TVC as far as I know but Luke Skywalker #21 in the 3.75 Black Series Orange Stripe card, (Dagobah Training) was the first time I saw multiple hands included. ( 2 grasping hands & 2 fingers splayed out hands, for hand stands but could also be sorta kinda used for arm stretched out "using the force" pose) Anyway I too agree extra hands should be the norm...would love a "pointing finger" hand for Han Solo! Love your videos from South Florida, US!
Man... there's LOADS of Vaders in 6 inch... but I guess you mean the one they released specific to the Kenobi series? 🤔 (p.s I guess they will have, but I don't even know! Haha I don't really follow the 6 inch line! 🤦🏻♂️🤣) #ignorance haha (me)
God I need this Vader so much!! I’ve only got an episode 3 slashing lightsaber Vader,and a special edition silver Vader. This one looks so great though. Can’t wait to see this hanging on a peg!! Great review,it’s made me want to get hold of this pretty sharpish!! 👌
My figure has amazing printings and I’d no issue with the cod piece or the helmet’s dome. The fabric is fine and I can let go for the saber for now. And the figure I picked up was the only one (no pun intended) on the peg. Such variation in figure quality is not great. Your opened Vader is far from what we deserve. The other one, I think, looked better indeed. Regardless, STILL an amazing figure! The articulations, the sculpting… the authenticity here is the first step before we get the best OT Vader.
@@OnlyOneKenobiI think the best option would be to heat up the helmet a little. On my TBS Boba Fett, I learned it the hard way. This may solve the issue with your Vader.
Just got this today (Saturday) What an amazing figure. Again,brought from “Game” £7.99!!!! Such good prices for an amazing definitive Vader. I had 2 Vaders,but only a silver special edition figure,and then a Vader where you squeeze his legs together and he slashes his sabre about lol. But this is such a step up for my collection lol. I got Obi Wan Kenobi wandering Jedi last week so at least they can be displayed together. Great figure,great video/review as always. Going to have to get another though soon with the new rotj Vader!! 👍👍
This is a great Vader, but two things. One, his robes flow under his shoulder armor like in ESB/ROTJ, but this series leads right into ANH where his robes flow over the shoulder armor. So inconsistent. And two, that crouch flap/padding doesn’t look right to me. It sticks out too much. I’m knit picking for an otherwise very close to perfect Vader. I love the more streamlined robes (not excessively big and flowing like we’ve seen in the past), and the extra hands are a nice touch. To me this is a definitive ESB/ ROTJ figure and not a ANH Vader. As far as it being a Kenobi Vader is meaningless as that series was highly forgettable. So this guy is parked on my TVC shelf right next to my Emperor and his throne. 😬
The cape though is made of an awful material that looks nothing like the silky smooth texture of the original. This is used across the board now and it needs to be replaced asap.
I had that as child and wail some like no else reson i looked off my old toys or better wht left off it i rembeder them as by Matel made ,moment i had a 1977 Falcon as a Tie fighter wher playd with round playmobil space ship... the Tie fighter lost a wing and whent trashed , the falcon where given to my neview(sitser youngest) as he where 6 about he later losd it' . Some puppetsi found in the Playmobil Spaceship(i gues he find that ugly so it stay at grandm, theller ) Darth Vaider as ther Tie fighter pilot or stormtopper have Big divence to the show ;those a origin Merc. to the Fighter ther is a else copamay on it, not Mattel not Hasbro says : C GMFGI.1977 .Just on the origin darth vader the lightsaber disaper in the right arm mean is part off it , Cape a sabor is lost here .

It's probably my favorite figure of the year . I wasn't sure I would want a new Darth Vader all that much. But it is so well done.
The guy who played Dengar was a beast and he actually did some work in the suit in ANH for Prowse

I got this figure from star action figures it came in a star case. Without doubt this is my favourite version of Vader Hasbro have made.
