I would agree but uhhh...it's getting a little TOO "far fetched". I mean..by season 7, Utred will have helped the Egyptians build the Pyramids, taught Napoleon how to rule, tucked Atilla the Hun in to bed at night, and get his knob shined by Queen Nefertiti.
Its ok to "FUDGE" history for the sake of fantasy but DAYUM SHEESH.

I agree to an extent@@carolinajules5514. I actually love INGENUITY in shows and movies. I'm more talking of how Utred is like a Multi-Purpose Disinfectant for EVERY problem. It really crescendoed at the end of this LAST season. "Please Utred...take my SON and raise the Future King (even tho I have a Castle, servants, security, and an entire Kingdoms resources at my beck and call)" 😲😲🤔🤔🙄🙄😔😔.
Just count how many times EVERYONE says..."Fetch Utred", "Bring Utred", "Where's Utred", "Tell Utred to come see, I Poop-ied in da Potty".
There's a history teacher somewhere pissing his pants at how many "historical" events inserted Utred in the back saying "Destiny is All"

I'm from Hungary and I was so lucky that I met with Arnas Fedaravicius (Sihtric) in a gym, where I was a personal trainer. He is just as amazing in real world as in the show. I hope I can meet with more actors and actresses from the Last Kingdom.

I met with Arnas in Budapest at Flex Gym. Budapest is the capital of Hungary. It's really nice, but I prefer countryside more with natural landscapes.
(For the sake of the commenter above: My birth name is Dorottya. Dorka is the shorter form of it. I know it's not very lucky with an English point of view. But if Dick exists as an English boy name, then Dorka as a Hungarian girl name is good to go.)

Writing-wise, the show is already setup for Season 5. This whole time we were led to believe that Wessex is the “last kingdom” standing against the Danes. Now the tables have turned and Edward declares Northumbria to be the last kingdom toward a united England.
Kevin Sim They rushed through about four or five books in this one season. There was so much more they could have done. The battle of Chester would have been amazing!! Not to mention if they had of done the Cnut storyline justice. They should have waited and introduced Sigtryggr next season. Cnut in the books is the Sword of the Danes and he is the best Danish fighter in the whole of Britain, then they just kill him like that. So not only did they make up the whole Athelwold/Ragnar thread, which isn’t in the books. They decide to kill one of the best antagonists from the books within what, a season and a half? I loved the show but I just had a few gripes.
Andy Woods He takes bebbanburg from his cousin in book 10, also Steapa wasn’t supposed to die. And yeah I was hoping for the siege of Ceaster where Siggtrygr loses his eye

I love watching Alexander Dreymon in intimate moments like this virtual interview. His answers are usually measured but fun. From the little I've read about Alexander he's an extremely private person. I respect that he only puts himself out there to promote TLK, future projects and his life's calling regarding wildlife conservation. He isn't one of those celebrities who's an attention junkie.

I found this program and started watching The Last Kingdom when I was waiting for season 5 of Outlander. You should check out twitter and Facebook and Instagram to see if there’s more of a fan base for TLK or get more starters. Outlander has an amazing fan base, just saying, while we wait for S5

Have you all seen Outlander? Seasons 1-4 on Netflix, season 5 just finished on Starz. Amazing acting! Great storyline. Just saying since S5 The Last Kingdom will be a long way off due to Coronavirus! I recommend it !

I love to watch every minute of each season. I was so emotional on part that Uhtred became slave I was crying so hard especially when his brother Ragnar rescued him. I cried a lot. I’m looking for season 5,6 and more. My husband has been so jealous of me watching you guys because he said I have no more time for him when I talk to him it’s all about what is going on in every episode. He is happy when I finished the last episode

Love TLK! I've watched all seasons twice. Looking forward to Season 5. I love the young actors who played Uhtred's children, they were perfect. I miss Beocca :( I stopped rolling my eyes when Aelswith would come on screen in Season 4. Great acting Eliza! My favorite actor is Alexander Dreymon playing Uhtred. How can someone be so beautifully handsome and be so talented and funny!
Excellent series! It is so well made! Every little detail is so well done! Congratulations!! And of course Alex is a doll, you can't keep your eyes away from him. The costumes, the make up artists!! The horses!! Wonderful!!

I liked season 4 saw it at mid night when it was released by morning I was done it was so good but then I was so sad 😞 I started rewatching from season 1 , I liked this interview I liked how the interviewer included everyone 👏🏼

Maltese Mom I just recently discovered The Last Kingdom and I don’t look at the thumbnails so I didn’t know how many seasons there were. Plus I watched the seasons in an odd order. I couldn’t stand Uhtred in Season 1 so I stopped watching it and then one day, I woke up from a nap and my husband was watching Season 4 and I couldn’t stop watching it with him and so after Season 4, I went back to Season 1 and Now, I’m hooked. I like it better than Game of Thrones. 🤣

Michael Jordan you need another series for the waiting time so look around there are a few good ones out there. I’m not sure but maybe you’d like Outlander. Take it for a spin. It’s got 4 seasons on Netflix and it just finished S5 on Starz. Great unusual and exiting storyline and has lots of battles !
Try watching Vikings while waiting for season 5. It’s the storyline of how the Danes lived and how they got to know of England.

I only look at youtube rarely and i watch netflix. I am so grateful for this series in this time of trouble. I have watched all 4 seasons this year. I really feel like that guy rehearsed his parts in the mirror. Had to. He didn't even have to speak and you knew how he felt. I feel like that's talent there.. I admire the talent in the cast. You can tell they also enjoy theater and their not just barbie dolls from Hollywood. I really, really enjoy this show!

After I binged Season 4, I became very sad. Not only did I miss Beocca, but I missed everyone, even Aethelwold that snake in the grass. So I started the whole series again from the beginning and I'm almost done with Season 3.
Same here. I get sad because it's such an awesome atmosphere when you binge. It's like you don't want to stop watching because it's then that time period and you know the characters and the way they are and I miss them when they have finished a season and so I do watch the from the beginning all over again.

Today, it’s May 4th 2020 @ 11:17 pm Tuesday. Trying not to finished the season 4 so quickly or else I’ll be gone crazy and nothing to do. I watched it one episode per day and keep pausing it so it doesn’t end right away.
I was tempted not to watch the last episode and have it as a treat, but I failed.
You all are going to have to find a replacement during the drought of the last kingdom. I suggest Outlander Netflix 1-4 and Starz S5. By the time you finish, The Last Kingdom might be ready with S5. Netflix will give you a list “because you watched The Last Kingdom we suggest...”
