  • Season 1 brings exciting changes to the current Meta. This Tierlist is all about the best and most used weapons in the highest rank. Most of the top 1000 players in Diamond will use those weapons to stay ahead of their competitors.
    Im breaking down the numbers and stats of the guns to make the best Tierlist possible and explain to you what are the best weapons for each class.
    Ill explain some of the hidden stats of top tier weapons, TTK ( Time to kill), Damage numbers allowing you to make informed decisions to elevate your The Finals gameplay.
    Ill also release a comprehensive beginners guide next week to help everyone who needs a few tips and tricks, aswell as a Meta Tierlist for all abilities.

    I definitely felt the LH1 change as someone that could win 90% of fights in open beta then unlocking it in release and instead losing 90% of fights it was heartbreaking

    Sledgehammer and charge is my favorite pub stopping loadout. Clog up the cash out with some goo walls and you can be a serious menace. The key to making the melees work is utilizing the quick melee as a finisher. Makes TTK way faster on melees, but it’s still difficult to make good competitive use out of them.

      I sometimes run them aswell in pubs when im feeling it. Also forces me to look at the game differently and learning different playstiles.

      competitive is such a drain for me in this game, but i always run sledge and charge in games, its really fun if you can manage to get some good momentum going off ziplines and jump pads, its an absolute clip weapon if you get some good movement, or if you camp on cashout with 2 c4 then sit in the room below, and when they start to cap, blow c4 and melee, incredibly fun, ive tried unranked tournament and it performs ok there but you need teamplay to use it, just good for pub stomping

    I actually really like the Flamethrower. It isn’t exactly the fastest killer but it makes other teams spammed gas grenades and mines useless, gets through goo quick, unintentionally uncovers stealthed smalls all the time, goes straight through all shields etc. Brings a ton of utility.

      Maybe its best used as a support gun, where you have a partner also doing damage
      This is not a weapon to go solo or to get kills

    Your perception of the SH1900 deviated from mine. While I do agree that in an organizated fight it suffers. From my experience you can catch people off-guard, be it just for 0.6s, and rob their HP or even kill them without comitting too hard into the fight. Pair this weapon with a player who knows their way around flanks and how to keep their cool and aim their shots in chaotic scenarios and it'll tear teams appart. It's a weapon that rightfully fits into the Niche category in my opinion.

      I agree. The SH1900 absolutely shreds if you are great at flanks and evading. Also one of the most important parts being that you don't miss a shot which is my biggest downfall atm...always missing that damn second shot or I don't hit with the every pellet lol but it feels so damn rewarding when you take somebody out with it.

      yea this is a great show of how stats dont quite fit reality. shotgun + invis is basically the most meta build for the light at high ranks atm unless your running the mp5. taking two shots (1 or 2 kills) then going invis is basically the only way to deal good damage with the light without getting outclassed by the superior hp of other classes.

    I kind of like the sledgehammer because it can oneshot light classes and two-shot medium. While it may not be great, I love just bonking that one invisible light trying to sneak up on me

    I think you're seriously underrating the double barrel. There's almost always a scenario where it's useful and when its not (like getting into the finals against hmm) you can just switch. One of the really nice pros of it is it forces teams to play really tight which makes your teams other gadgets (glitches, gas mines, c4 barrels, RPG, etc..) super powerful

      Yeah the double barrel getting a lot of attention for being op rn, it needs a nerf but so does all the other stuff that can 1shot lights in exchange

      The SA12 however just melts people even at a sizable distance for very little risk.

      except you can't swap, in ranked you can only swap AFTER a round is completed not before, so taking the double barrel in first round is a dumb idea.
      also the dbl is bugged atm, its registry with the 2nd shot works 50% of the time, thats why sometimes you can tank 4 shots from the dbl barrel and then othertimes he 2taps your heavy to vietnam.
      its buggy asf atm and no one should be using it (ive seen alot of people catch on with the fact its bugged and stopped using it in the last week or so)

      light is literally the only class in the game thats balanced rn, heavy and medium are beyond busted and it clearly shows, considering there are only 6 light players in the top 100 and the rest are ALL medium/heavy.

    As a throwing knife player gotta say i agree but will continue to use them for the satisfaction lol, they need to make the heavy throw holdable with a buff to the speed and i think it could be A/B tier

      only thing that keeps them viable for me is you can cheese the right click animation with cloak. with all weapons you only decloak when the animation starts so you can start the throw then cloak and the animation will finish while you remain in stealth. even then it's a fun albeit gimmicky weapon that I'd continue to use anyway. can't say the same about the dagger though. feels unplayable to me, had multiple times where a guy was on cash standing still and the backstab didn't register somehow. plus the really strong aim assist throws me off on m+kb. feels like I have to fight the weapon when it kicks in

    Still grinding for VR in quick play, picking whatever's fun.
    I still like the FCAR for solo queue because the high DPS and the scope makes it easy to poke, harass, and do quick, soft engagements with, which gives an uncoordinated team more chance to scout, set up, and build advantage.

      The FCAR and AKM is pretty much a whatever you prefer using. Alot of people run both guns even swapping between maps.

      faster fire rate or dmg buff would be nice. it feel impossible to win in a gun fight vs heavies or lights.

      @@swalees - There's actually a neat trick with the Model. If you expend all shells, the reload allows you to fire the first reloaded shell significantly faster than if you reloaded at any other point.
      This means that you can fire the first reloaded shell over and over at almost the base fire rate of the weapon.

    if the sniper ever gets buffed it will be s tier for sure. the ranged burst damage paired with a grappling hook and good team comms adds so much value compared to the other light class weapons imo

    I feel like the Fcar is the best fr flanking enemies from rooftops and other angles while ur squad push in or defend. the mag size is definitely low and u won't be able to secure some kills but ur teamate will win the encounter.

    This video is super good! But one problem I have with weapons tierlists, they eliminate all creativity bcs why would I try a dagger cloak set if everybody else is using the meta weapons? I have the same problem in Cod and all other class based shooters. Winning ≠ having fun

      I mean that is just as much a possible issue with what the playerbase will do with info from tier lists rather than just the listmakers themselves. The video pretty much ends stating that while the list shows best to least ideal weapons stats wise, one can still choose any weapon for their own playstyle to have fun.
      And I bet a good amount of people searching for tier lists in the first place are likely expecting highest to lowest tiers in performance and not creativity anyway unless explicitly stated in the title. Not everyone of course, but yeah.

    Sad to see that one of my favourite weapons (medium grenade launcher) only managed to get into D-Tier, but I understand why. It still is very fun to use, but you need to build your entire class around it to make it work. But once you do, it's some of the most fun I've had playing this game.

At close range you can throw explosive mine and a grenade launcher shot and it will blow up the mine and erase mediums and lights with that combo. Also you can use gas mines as a zoning tool and glitch mines to disable people. The launcher makes detonating mines so easy that it feels like the mines are alternate launcher ammo.

    One thing I found about the throwing knives is once u start the long secondary fire, u can immediately cloak again and n fire without declocking. Only when u first press the right click u de-clock. I tried to find a play style but it’s still pretty hard.

    I could argue for a "cashout control" type of gameplay using the medium nade launcher with auto turret, two mines and whatever else you like (defibrilator or sonar grenade are usually what i go with) and it's suddenly a rather interesting weapon, you'll want to run away from fights while keeping an eye on cashout, harass people while in cover because AoE damage means attacking people without being exposed to their fire is possible. shoot your own mines when they get close and always have one or two on cashout to blow them up by yourself because people now finally learned to open their eyes and not walk on them anymore (well not always).
    Anyway, i'm not gonna say it's S tier but i do get 8K combat score and a minimum of 10 kills per round with this build by playing defensive/passive most of the time and dodging team wipes by always being able to buy time or run away.

    I would say the sword should be able to be at least niche because if you get really good with it you are able to kill just about everyone with a small chance of being killed if your team is still alive. I’ve gotten 36 kills in bank it with the sword which was super fun, and I’m not even the best sword player as there is a dude who goes absolutely crazy with it.

      Yeah sword is alot of fun. Its definelty usable but I think its not stong enough to be niche (atleast for me) Also because it has a broken hitbox atm that might get fixed. You can literally do 360 degree turns while attacking and not miss.

    Cl40 deserves its own tier below the rest because it still has wonky damage registration and variable damage on direct hits, can take an entire clip plus another nade to kill a heavy with all direct impacts, needs a gimmick pick works if the oppnent is asleep tier

    Feel like the FCAR is more of viable option for someone with good aim. it has a faster reload than the AKM, so if you are playing behind cover and using jump pads well, then you will win against an AKM player most of the time.

      True, especially if you're getting the drop on someone. Being able to bit head shots and delete someone from a distance is very valuable. Great for controlling rooftops and highground.

    First tierlist ever that I actually completely agree with, great takes, great research, keep making them with the same effort man, if only you did tierlists for other games.
    A player with godly movement will absolutely wipe your team with the light shotty so I certainly would put it in niche since it has an insane skill ceiling tho, ive been learning how to use it from the best and been doing great.

    I love doing light sniper, especially with another sniper. You can either out shoot them or get right up against them and have a melee and hip fire duel to distract them for a while. It helps when they get annoyed and ask their team for an assist because you have a significant group pulled away from your team on obj. It’s also funny jumping around nonstop

    I really wish knifing was better, I feel like if they made the back hitboxes a TINY bit more forgiving, and maybe allowed you to hold the one shot stab while cloaked similar to the sword lunge it could be better but in its current state knifing is so difficult.

      honestly I don't get why they butchered it so bad. beta was workable cause they were ways to slide while charging etc but now that's gone, the actual backstab has not gone through multiple times on people standing still on cash and there's incredibly strong aim assist on m+kb which actually makes it harder to hit people cause u end up fighting it

    Here I am still mainly sticking to melee because I find the style to be more fun. Jumping in and out of combat through smokes and invis bombs can wipe teams.

    there are only 2 situations (technically 3) where you can consistently “animation cancel” (except for 0 to 1 it’s not a true cancel) the 1887 reload. And that is at 0 to 1 and 1 to 3 (and 5 to 6). The way they coded it puts priority on matching the animation over QOL/gameplay.
    So it will straight up ignore any commands to shoot in-between those instances. It’s gotten me killed so many times it’s frustrating, confusing, and sometimes even shocking. I’ll have to go back and check again but I don’t think even inventory switching cancels it.
    At the very least it most certainly does NOT reload how you would expect it to at all. And since it takes long to reload it feels really bad in cqc. Ironically I don’t think this shogun was designed for close range. But it’s great at mid range peak shots and ranged cleanup shots.

    i think if the throwing knives were a 4 hit (2 light attacks) kill on mediums they'd be a lot more usable. As it stands now with everyone running meta loadouts you cant outdps an ak, even if you get the drop on them.

      It's only fit F tier if no building around and cash out is on forest/open space
      Combine with goo gun, u can control enemy movement so they can't outrun you easily in close space

    I honestly think the sword is underrated. At the highest ranks it'd becomes useless as teams coordinate much better but outside of that it has amazing burst damage and with dash you become very hard to hit

    For the reload comment at 6:45 could be possible that the reason the reload time doesn't match with the actual reload time is due to fire rate. An example of this happening occurred in Deep Rock Galactic where a shotgun had a mod to either increase fire rate or increase reload speed and the fire rate increase actually ended up affecting reload speed almost as much as the reload speed mod. The reason is that fire rate in many games has a follow through time that normally doesn't affect the reload speed but if you have a slow shooting gun it can add time to the actual reload. Could be just plain wrong values or a combination of both.

      I tested all guns and pretty much all guns have some delay from last bullet shot to reload start but thats so minimal you can ignore it for most of them.
      But 50% more time 3 to 4.5 sec is just crazy. There is no modifier.
      It has a weird reload pattern but that doesnt have to do with anything i believe.

      I've noticed it reloads much faster from empty simply because you don't get caught doing the animation where you eject and grab the live shell in the chamber and rechamber it. But it sounds like you tested it from empty and it's still horribly slower than advertised@@swalees

    The knife is so unbelievably bad I'm surprised how it even made it to launch. It's like they just gave up on it. 50 damage, for a second long backstab charge if you miss is atrocious, when you factor in not being able to swap guns in ranked, the first time a team with an total iq of over 50 knows your team uses a knife just starts to look for you. You are not USELSS, but hitting a backstab feels like a gimmick then a strategy. Maybe they should make it have a bleed damage effect? I just don't see this thing ever having viability if it stays in the "backstab or bust" playstyle. Sword is my main weapon, and paired with the dash and if you have great situational awareness is insane but in open area points, like the one that's on that elevator on the edge of the map or any team that drops a cashout tied to the sky you are just out of luck. Maybe in lower elos, while your team is distracting you can find a way. But the higher you ascend in ranks, its just too easy to beam you down unless you burn all your dashes just to get close, and then you run into the issue of.... no more dashes. I think a buff to the knife, adding a stacking 7.5dmg/ second bleed stacking to 3 could be great. 3 swipes, 50 damage a pop doing 150 then running away while they get ticked for a 22.5dmg/sec dot for 5 seconds dishing out that last little dmg you need to effectively duel a medium would be crucial for it to ever become viable. You run into the issue of people in video games HATING bleeds, and trades happening more often though. Also, with a buff like that you can change the backstab to 200 dmg, so IF you manage to sneak up on someone it can be rewarding but it should be the only playstyle. That'd one shot a light that should be more aware, stab slash a medium and a stab with 4 slashes and run for a heavy. Still, I think the shotgun in any situation if you are gonna use the knife for close range would be better, but at the end of the day its just my opinion. Oh, and also maybe a higher base run speed for knife > sword?
    I know this isn't the dev team, but you've got good points and data knowledge, wanted to run this idea off of you to see what you think. Haven't really given the sledgehammer much thought because I think its fundamentally just a bad weapon and more of a ME SMASH weapon people can have fun with. Sniper, if you are being forced to rock it the whole ranked lobby should have a 30% slow on its shots/ 3 seconds or something. If I cant 1 shot headshot a med, you gotta at least give me something to work with.

      From my knowledge the knife charged backstab does around 320 dmg oneshotting med and light and leaving heavies on one HP.
      I think bleed could be interesting but kill trades are really bad for games with small playernumbers per team.
      Melee weapons are in a great spot for fun plays or lower ranks. I think buffing them would ruin the experience for 90% of the playerbase while enforcing a terrible Meta.
      If you increase movement speed it eliminates the "counterplay" to melee weapons and doesnt punish incorrect play while using them.
      Overall good thoughts. I think melee weapons are very useable just not in the highest ranks.

    FCAR becomes a much more reliable weapon when fired in bursts or taps. I will only ever use akm if I’m on Vegas where quarters are much tighter

    Great video, but I think you’re truly underestimating the light shotgun in the hands of a good light dash or cloak player. The ability to deal massive amounts of damage quickly while also getting in and out of situations. Makes the shotgun one of the best weapons. If there is a light that can get into good positioning with the shotgun in can be a game changer.

    Sniper being unable to one shot medium is a good thing IMO, stops the weapon from becoming overpowered and replacing close to mid range weapons and from it just being a shotgun where all it’s power is in one bullet, also getting one shotted by a sniper when almost every weapon does not kill in 1 hit is always annoying (looking at you TF2 sniper)

    I ran 3 sledgehammers and we won 5 games in a row from a mix of knocking buildings down which disoriented players to just teaming up when necessary.
    And also riot shield, I feel like for hit scan is so bad it’s easier to jump off the map, on a map without cliffs then to hit an enemy consistently.

    As a sledgehammer player myself, you need to utilise your mines and Q shield to get people where you want them to be, they naturally run away from you .. to place where you placed the mines. And your main weapon is not a hammer, it is a C4 and your throwing capabilities, making this build a bit hard to master. But 100% fun to play.

      I think that is what makes this game so much more fun than others. It makes you think outside of the box and learn different playstyles than typical FPS games and gives it its more tactical approach.

    Very nice video! I could see you as one of the best tier list channels for The Finals as the game grows!
    That being said I have to add my thoughts here:
    Having played many games over the years and watched many tier list videos, I think your videos are very interesting to people like me (an engineer to be). I like detailed videos with founded data like your spreadsheet. Yet I think the majority of people just want to get a quick in and out experience and get the tier list in a nutshell basically. I really enjoy your deep dive but I think if u want to attract more viewers, parts like 7:17 - 8:15 can just be left out. You could still upload in depth explanation videos for the people who want to know but I think for the average viewer, a 5 minute quick meta cover video would be more appealing.
    I hope you understand that i'm not trying to hate your content but rather I'd love to see your channel grow.
    That being said, I have no experience in running a TH-cam channel, it's just my perception of what seems to work, so take it with a grain of salt :)

      I think while most people want to have a quick "whats the best gun to use" its not really what I want to do.
      (And they can just skip to the end and look at the list. )
      Since most other youtubers already do that and ive got comments saying they watched 5 tierlists before but didnt really like them.
      But its true i could keep some of the stuff for a more in depth video and keep it a bit shorter.

    Very good, even if I'd argue against some spots of the positions. But thats likely because of my Playstyle.
    'Cause I'd rather have my Lh1 more often than XP-54, Ironically. Find more consistent kills with it with, funnily enough, more shot missed reliability. Likely because of that lower ROF means I send those missed rounds less often.
    Def would use this as a baseline for friends though!

      LH1 is still very usable and i enjoy it more than the smgs of the light but it got nerfed quite hard

    I think the Throwing Knives deserve more recognition as a precision weapon. Similar to how the revolver shoots up in tier on headshots, the Throwing Knives are absolutely amazing when you put in the practice. I agree with the low placing if you’re aiming to hit body, but I think the knives really shine higher when you’re capable of hitting face.
    Against Lights, one knife to the body and one to the head is a kill. The delay in the left click is functional for being able to do this since you can aim body then adjust for the headshot. Even if you miss the headshot, killing a light takes 3 body shots and you’ve already hit one of three. Two knives thrown per primary fire means you adjust for body - the easier target - to secure the kill at the TTK in the video.
    Against Heavy, headshots are king and absolutely shred them with something like 4 knives (two primary fires) to kill. Versus hitting a headshot on a Light, this is much more doable and consistent.
    One huge benefit of the throwing knives is also the movement speed or, rather, how you can maintain your movement speed with high accuracy when compared to firearms. Likewise, the ability to “prime” damage (or pre-cast/pre-fire) with alt fire is insane.
    Alt-fire on Throwing Knives is pretty great. It is pointless mid-fight. The “increased” damage from the windup isn’t worth the DPS loss from just throwing with your primary fire. However, it has its use cases.
    Throwing Knife alt-fire is accurate midair, making it useful over primary fire for falling, using a jump pad, or for use with a grappling hook.
    Alt-fire also has a higher projectile velocity than primary fire, making it your go-to for long range engagements. Since it also does the same damage as a primary fire (when both hit), it’s useful for jiggle peeking or other scenarios where you would not be able to land both knives of a primary fire back to back.
    The alt fire is also used for pre-casting before you would see the enemy on your screen. It is also useful for certain tech.
    With Dash, you can flick to the left or right of your opponent and use dash to both correct your aim and stay mobile.
    With Cloak, you can activate invisibility after initiating the alt-fire animation, possibly making it safer or allowing you to swing earlier in your animation.
    Alt-fire is mainly used as your very first hit in a CQC fight if and only if the windup is safe. It’s also key in fighting Mediums as one alt-fire followed by a primary fire should kill them. The biggest key to using alt-fire is ensuring safety during the windup.
    Overall, Throwing Knives can be a great weapon to have, provided you put in the practice. It definitely has a punishing skill floor, but I think the skill ceiling is as of yet unseen.

Luckily, that kind of inconsistency can be improved on with practice and skill - which most people probably don’t want to do when they could just pick up something like the V9S and focus on other elements of the game like strategy, utility use, and so on.

    Super good video. I would say though that stats don’t mean everything. How guns “feel” in a game is super important and also in this game, how each one pairs with the abilities of its class is also crazy important. For example, the light Shotty might be on the weaker side of the 3 shotguns, but when you consider the cloaking ability or other movement abilities that the light class has, it becomes one of the better ones (obviously not the best Shotty though bc the heavy one is crazy op and needs a nerf)

      Honestly, I have tried to play it shorty with the light and its different abilities, I feel that it does not give you room for error, it could not be better than other weapons because you have to risk being close and it is not a certain death either.

    Yeah the heavy shotgun is very situational. Great damage but you have to be very close and that 4 shot pump really hinders it's performance, usually by the time you get to the pump your opponent will be very low health but still shooting at you and usually your kinda screwed in that situation.

    I tried out The Finals recently, it was fun. The movement is really nice in the game and I like how you can attack from any direction due to being able to destroy the environment. I liked playing a trap heavy medium build and having my traps made useless because they breach charge from under is fun.
    The game is chaotic and it has some potential... but I don't think it's ever going to reach it. The game feels like it relies on gimmicks too much. The small download size just makes me feel like this game is meant to be marketed a lot and then abandoned once the money has been made.
    The movement of this game is S tier. A lot of the other aspects are lacking. The weapon variety and the fact you're limited to 1 gun option per round I find not that fun. I think the game just needs more... and better balancing. Would argue even that some of the weapons just don't feel that good to play with. How they are used in general needs to be worked on.
    I feel like the game needs a few more game modes, better weapons/shooting mechanics, and more customization options for your builds. Once it gets those things I'll redownload the game. It really is a fun game... it just needs a bit of work to take me away from other FPS games.

    Throwing knives are best played as hit and run/flanker play style and is heavily dependent on movement. Haven’t found the alt fire to be worth it at all aside from people who aren’t moving or paying attention. If you can get a good pre-made and work the flank it’s devastating up close. Personally more C rank instead of D in my opinion

    Honestly the Sniper is underrated for people with good aim. Being able to one shot lights, one shot mediums (as long as they have been hit atleast once - great when com'd with team) and 2 shot heavies at range is a great advantage. It has relatively fast ADS time and combined with dash can actually be quite effective as a "shot gun" of sorts in close range when playing around your team well.

    riot shield mains rise up. As a riot shield support, the amount of times you will pull agro from a whole team is absurd. its also a good counter to lights stun gun, as you can still turn around or just block damage done. also good for defending players who are taking points or being healed. Its also not even that bad in damage. doing about 2 hits for light, 3 for med and 4 to 5 for heavy. overall its super oppressive and punishing. unless your carrying a firebomb.

    imo the double barrel is the literal definition of a pub stomper its the most common weapon you'll see lights using in bank it along with cloak and stun gun....in rank its a different story

      It is an oppressive weapon. After playing abit more I would put it in A Tier aswell for teams that like to rush other teams.
      Its not great against 2 mediums as they can just double rez and kill you. but against a HHM oder HML its great if you take out their medium first.

    I feel like the moment heavy launcher gets buffed it'll be insane, but right now the biggest thing holding it back is direct hits bounce off and explode meaning against a light will likely launch out of AOE range while they run directly at you. Cut the explosion delay in impact and it'd be a game changer
    RPG mandatory for H-launcher and hammer because of this imo, lest some light sniper dodge slide chain their way out of your threat and snipe you with ease while you do nothing

      NGL I damage myself more with the Nadelauncher bouncing off my enemie than I damage them.
      I feel it should direkthit on Contact with players and bounce once on surfaces.

      I already fell like heavy is the most op of all 3 classes. Light is Strong but hard to play. Medium is only good because of the Defi and heal. Tanks are Damage Dealer, Tank, Support and so on. My problem im not into heavy cause i like to move xD

    I think to match the AK the FCAR badly needs either a couple points bump in damage or 5 more in a mag. I like the slower firing higher damage guns in games in general, so its my favorite. It has a nasty habit of doing 247 when I go against mediums and hit 8 shots (5 body and 3 head = 247) and I think it should really be a medium kill at least with those hits. It basically destroys the potential of the gun for multikill performance compared to the AK. If you try to take on 2 mediums you have to hit about 9 each on average leaving room for only 2 misses which is kinda silly balance wise in a game with high move speed and low inertia.

      Also to note the raw damage potential for all body shots in a mag for fcar vs ak is 520 vs 720 and both have the same hs multiplier. That extra 200 damage is huge in close firefights. And is almost taking out a third medium while the fcar wouod barely get 2. A bump to 25 in the mag would yield 650 potential damage which is much better for balance imo, the potential damage per mag discrepancy doesnt really justify the tiny dps buff.

      @@dentron9885 FCAR is busted in the right hands, the AK is the better all round for having more damage per clip but the FCAR presently has one of the best TTK's in the game and rewards those with good aim with the ability to snap a light out of existence of embaress any other class if you land your shots one versus one, it's in the right place.

      @@adamlooney177 The FCAR isn't bad by any means, but just saying "yeah hit all the headshots perfectly" isn't a valid balancing tactic unless you are cheating or whatever. The FCAR has about 20% more raw DPS than the AK but also stronger recoil, which makes those shots a bit harder to hit, especially at range where it should excel. And still, if you perfectly laser a light the AK will take 5 headshots to drop them, the FCAR will take 4. That's only a 1 round difference and considering the AK has a higher ROF that is basically negligible in ttk. All body shots would only make the round difference 2 with 6 vs 8. That is slightly better, but with the ROF difference still really isn't that meaningful. If anything its weird you are 'rewarded' more with body shot ttk than if you have perfect aim and hit headshots. And that's just discussing lights, there's still 2 other classes you have to balance the rifle with. Also the AK has a much better hip fire for really close range. A 5 round mag bump would make it perfect when compared to the AK. I would say it is more even if the AK had a 30 round mag, but the extreme mag size difference really make a huge difference in a team based game where you are basically guaranteed to encounter multiple opponents at once.

    I understand why you put the CL40 in D tier, but i use it as my main weapon, so much you can do with it. You can destoy walls, 1 shot lights, kills people stealing the cash point at an angle, stop from from stealing the cash point from below, in downtome you can shoot reload shoot reload decently fast, insane burst damage potiental, and best of all, the insane pressure you can dish out. I dont see anyone using it hardly especially content creators, makes me wanna start a channel on it

      Likewise. The CL-40 is definitely more of a utility weapon comparable to the Heavy's sledgehammer, but it has a lot of versatility. Its main weakness is simply that it doesn't deal enough damage to compete with the other weapons, dealing so little as to often fail to one-clip a heavy build. You rely heavily on your gadgets, particularly mines and traps, in order to make it a truly dangerous weapon. Still, I top-frag in lobbies with, as it is very powerful if used correctly.
      I sometimes wonder though if I should just equip the AKM and bring in a frag grenade for a similar effect.
