Don't be too pressured for babies number 2 Jess. People are just curious and rude, they'll never stop asking for the next baby as if it's their life. You can prepare for it whenever you're fully ready mentally and physically. Sending lots of love to you and all the moms in the world

23:48 not a mum, but as a sister with a 5 and 8 year gap between me and my older brothers, I would say that it doesn't really matter, as long as you teach them to love each other unconditionally ❤

I have 3 siblings and I'm closest with the one I have a bigger age gap with! (9 years)
I’ve got two older brothers, 8 and 12 years between us, I’ve never really been close with the oldest growing up but now he has kids of his own we see each other and do a lot more together
My brother and I have a 5 year age gap too. I'm not gonna lie, when we were young that was really rough. I was so in love with having him near and wanting to take care of him etc, while he hated me and would scratch & hit me in my face when i wanted to cuddle(try telling a couple months/1 year old to not do that...). This eventually let to the tables turning for both of us. I really didn't want to spend time with him anymore, cause he would use every moment he could to hurt me one way or the other(telling him off was not helping btw, my parents tried everything) So when he finally turned around when he was about 9, i didn't want anything to do with him. Not that i didn't love him, but I was just tired of it.
Now almost 18 years later, we are best buds, but I did always kinda wish that the age gap was just a little smaller, like 3 years or so. Felt like that maybe would have fixed the problem, cause our interests would have been more similar, but then again that is not promised so idk hahah

When it comes to an age gap with kids, people will usually advise you on what they think is best for the kids, but honestly I think you should do what’s best for you guys as parents.
You don’t need to wait longer than you want to because you feel like there should be a gap or rush before you’re ready because you feel like they won’t be close enough in age. Most of my friends who had kids close in age said it was BRUTAL in the early years and said they wouldn’t recommend it. My first child was not easy to raise, so I took my sweet time despite the pressure from other people to get pregnant. I’m so glad I waited. My two kids are 6 years apart and I regret nothing. Do what’s best for you guys. ❤
really!I wish I have thought more Abt me before having a second one...yes I was on baby fever,yes I like the gap with my sister,but I've never thought of how hard it has been on our parents to have two so small kids at the same time...I really found it hard at the beginning and I still do after two yrs...especially as far as keeping the house in order is concerned..
I had my second (baby boy) back in March and my daughter turned 3 in June and I have absolutely loved the age gap! She has been so sweet towards him and so helpful, we haven’t dealt with any jealousy, she just loves on him, sometimes too aggressively 😂 She’s potty trained and pretty independent so I feel like that has made bringing home a new baby so much easier, the transition from 1-2 kids for us just felt so much easier than 0-1!
These types of videos are literally my favorite. She's literally my comfort youtube. Any time I wanna just chill and relax, or even when I'm having a bad day, I'll just put Jess on (or honestly the both of them) and my day is automatically better. I really feel like I'm hanging out with her ☺

Not as a parent but as a medical student when we were taught about family plannings our professors had told us that 3 years is the perfect gap between siblings because you can focus on the initial growth of your first baby before shifting your focus on the 2nd one more. 😊

I stopped after one child. I knew mentally I would be a better mom to just one. My son is almost a teenager now and his father is expecting a little one with his new partner and my son is over the moon to have a sibling. I don’t think the gap really matters. ❤

My 2 girls are 3 years and 2 months apart EXACTLY! And we absolutely love it! My nephews are 2 years and 1 ish months apart and my sister and brother in law said they would not do the 2 year age gap again. IMO, 3 years is perfect and they are so so sweet together and love each other so much ❤️
