    If exporting .omf making your animation cluncky, jerky
    Check there is a bone which travel huge distance(For example 'bullet' bone in the magazine, disappearing in few keyframes)
    I figured this with hours of trial and error

    9:42 I made a typo. It should be .omf and not .ogf

    I have a Issue with exporting animation
    05:39 After import skl, hands and gun are not lined up... How can i Fix it(move gun or hands in object mode?)

      Yes! You will need to manually position the gun into the hands in object mode.

      @@dhk6051 Mb for the late response. I looked at the pic you sent. When the animation is set to idle for both hand gun, are the positions correct? If not, you will need to manually position it until it is correct in object mode.

    thank you so much, i always had a error when i export te omf in other folder, but i don't know why let me export only in "My Documents" folder, well finally can export :D

      Anomaly folder > db > configs > configs.db0. You will need to unpack them using the ARX toolset similar to how you unpacked for the weapon models

      im pretty sure you can reanimate any working gun in the game

    how to Editing existing animations ?

      Mb for the late reply. I haven't edited existing animations myself but I have a good idea of how the process goes for editing the weapon animations.
      The process is similar to the video except you import the omf for the gun model and locate the wpn body bone and edit animations from there using the graph editor. You still need to apply the constraints like shown in the video at timestamp 3:00.
      Once you edit the animations, just export the edited animations as skl and then add them to omf.

      @@sorasatsuki9679 Now, I'm not updated on the current tools but I don't think it is possible to import an existing anim directly onto the rig. You'll have to ask in the discord community for that.

    Hello. After exporting the animation to omf, the lead_gun bone starts moving jerky. I tried different rigs but the result was the same. Do you know what could be the problem?

      That's odd, were the animations fine when you exported them as skl? If they were, I'm not sure how exporting them as omf would make the lead gun bone go wack.

      Yes, if you export to skl and open it in the SDK or again in blender, everything is fine

      I usually go on a 1 year hiatus before I get motivated in animating again and Baldur's Gate 3 is around the corner. However, I'll think about it. The animating process with the rig is usually the same as any other process that's out there on youtube. Add a new action, keyframe pose by pose, and make use of the graph editor to achieve the best quality. I recommend checking out thriftydonut's fps animation tutorial.

      @@radon4163 yea thats fair, ive checked thriftys vid on the animating and it is good but it really just glosses over the process of the animating, any recomendations for tutorials?

      @@atk4tw671 Yeah, there is one series that I paid for that helped me get started. Fortunately for you, it's free now. Look up David Stenfor's fps animation tutorial on youtube. It goes over the process a lot slower.
      Once you got the basics, I recommend watching polybagel's advanced fps animation video as well as learn the principles of animation to quickly get better.

    is there an available version of the rig for Blender 2.79?

      The rig should work with any version of blender. It's the PavelBlend addon that you have to worry about it in regards to exporting the animations. You'll have to find if PavelBlend is compatible with v2.79.

    how do i export an ogf file? im trying to add extra bones to the model but i keep getting shit ton of errors instead

      You are better off checking out this video as it is more related to that one. The video shows how to import a new weapon model, add bones, and export it.

      Also, my guess is that you forgot to add an armature modifer for the meshes and have them assigned to the corresponding added bones. I could be wrong.
