I'm 65 and currently ride an MT-09, but I feel like I've been bewitched by the looks and the sound track of this bike. I am going to test ride one tomorrow. I enjoyed the video and your enthusiasm. My only concern is that it looked really bouncy. I had a Fat Bob for a few years and it was comfortable but at 800lbs and shook way to much, so I bought the MT-09 and I enjoy everything but the harsh engine braking. But this bike is just drawing me in, especially the Thornton Hundred video's. My wife almost divorced me over the Harley. Here we go again : )
As a 26 year old with a 19 Bobber black, this bike makes me want to break laws and go fast. It loves to be ridden at 8/10's. I can never get enough of mine. Over 1300 miles in under 2 months of ownership. And it's been ridden nearly every day since I got it.
I’ve kept the original silencers but with an X pipe decat’. When under load the sound is a fantastic heavy thump. I prefer it to the sound of straight through pipes.
What is the Triumph Bobber. It’s a can do bike. Mine can carve around the tight bends of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Dales. It can bob along for six hour rides. With its screen on it can, so I’ve heard, happily sit on the Motorway at speeds above the legal limit.
I'm 60 years old and own a 2022 bobber and a 2021 rocket 3gt. I just love the bobber for what it is. The looks and how it feels like a hooligan bike in the city.
I disagree re comfort and cruising. I often go for more than 3 hour rides without issue. Yes, it urges you to blast along but is equally as enjoyable bumbling along. The torque is amazing and must be one of the best bikes I've owned.
Excellent review! I have had a few sports and tourers and the triumph America which always sticks in my head, wrote my Suzuki 650 off last September and the family banned me ..last month the ban lifted and I purchased one of these ...not rode yet but cannot stop looking at the thing,,, this video has put me balls back in the sack to get out and ride the thing !
@@paulsilson2148 no change. The x pipe balances out the exhaust gas so it’s just a lot more noise from one side compared to the other. But decatting was the biggest difference
Superb machines. I have the standard with the 19" front tire, i like that look better - the fats on both ends are too much, too bulbous. As is the larger tank they later went to. But as you said, to each their own. Lotsa guys like bulbous. I also like the pipes that come with the bike. Not only do they look perfect for the machine, they are not overly aggressive sounding - just right. The bike almost sounds like a European sportscar. The sound is there for sure but no one's gonna think you're just another obnoxious dude stranded in adolescence.
@@midlife-crysis I recall when they first came out with the fat front on one they said it had a negative effect on the handling but not really much. I know my bike handles flawlessly and is even surprisingly stable on gravel.
stopped watching at 1:40 "going somewhere to attack" i tottaly love cruising with mine on around 3k rpm doing B roads or highway in lower speeds. i get your passion but Triumph bobber certainly is not a bike to go out and attack even if its so agile
all it takes is some old fart to pootle out of one of those side roads and you are a gonna riding like that. I hope you have life insurance for your wife and kids sake.
Do you realise that the police can still work out that you were speeding just by analysing your video and using the white lines on the road and how quickly you are passing them. So unwise to break the rules. 😮
who ever it was that was riding this bike, i hear that he faked the video and sped up the footage to look cooler. also lol, police having time or skill to be able to that stuff. they cant even find stolen bikes that have trackers on them in the UK.

love mine - my first bike - 54 years old - feels safe as houses and is the most beautiful modern bike to my eyes.
Wow, first bike at 54😮 well done 👏

Love the exhaust blast you show at the end of the video, really shows how powerful the engine is!

Sounds amazing, I must do mine, good video 👍🏻🖖🏻

This is the most amazing "review" of a Bobber. simply lovely.

i am going to test that theory out, doing a 3.5 hour ride this weekend to the highlands, will report on the state i am in from that ride

its a great bike even just for looking at and polishing and reving in the garage. so handy when the weather is total crap
I am thinking of upgrading my 250cc honda cl250 to this. Your video made me a bit afraid of this bike 😂
@@karga3662 it will be one hell of an upgrade! But you will fear parking it outside anywhere as it’s just too pretty.
I now understand why my Bobber-owning mate is picking up speeding tickets at the rate he is.
no speeding was done in this video, footage was sped up to look cooler so i am told....
@@midlife-crysis I guess you have to ride slow because your speedo is all blurry.

what is the exhaust setup on this?
The exhaust looks stupid, but a very nice bike
there are 2 exhausts, which one do you think is stupid? the short drag pipe, or the big silver one?
Subtle blurring. lmfao!
