Sick bike ❤
Ever find the problem?
Hay, how long did the service take.
@@chich22 I sat in the shop and they had my bike from 10am and gave it. Back at 12. Quick service
What a sound I felt like i was riding the bike with you.
It's a lot of flouffing about
This was the funniest review I have ever seen. Congratulations. I don’t agree with the most of your comments, but understand all of your points. And it’s ok. Keep doing this very good job.
Good god that sounds absolutely phenomenal.
Yamaha is already listing Akrapovic in the accessories.
The knock on effect when a company shut is enormous!
Dude you need to trust it and pull not go sit on top of it lol lol
nope, was deffo a leverage issue, not a trust issue
@ nope, is deffo trust issue , I have literally the same bike and also similar short paddock and I’m not as bulky as you are
@@akiskap7394still got the orange paddock stand. Will give it another try.
@ now that you have done it numerous times with the other you’ll see that you ll succeed it . If you afraid for the bike just put some pillows left and right , the initial pull is crucial , just do it. And remember to pull , don’t press down at all pull
Brilliant run and looked/sounded like you had a lot of fun. I’m north of Grantown-on-Spey so know those roads well. The run through Glenshee is spectacular. At 47:00 straight on goes to Grantown and the turn you took takes you to Nethy Bridge. Worth checking out Castle Roy and a gentle ride around Loch Garten next time. Can’t wait for sunshine and dry roads. 😢😂
That was just good fun. Thanks for the right man.
When I started riding in the 70’s I commuted to Edinburgh in all weather including snow and ice at one time had a race prepared RD400 that had absolutely nothing below 3500 revs not good on slippery roads especially at that rpm it would take off. The gear then was terrible cold wet no comfort. I recall the worst day coming out from Arthur Seat where I’d cut through deep slushy snow and very heavy sleet in the dark with rubbish lights and lots of traffic. I still ride in winter but not to work (retired now) so pick my days carefully.
Nice,what year it's your bike?
2023
5:09 wahahaha i feel that one in my heart.
Couldn’t ride a bike to save his life 😂 get a Vespa mate there cool haha. It’s a nice bike 🏍️

@ gear changes, don’t need to clutch in you can just brap the throttle, also no balls. Explained
@ clutcless shifting…i do that on my bobber but got a false neutral on this once and shit myself thinking the chain had come off

I tested 4 of them and one of the dealers let me have one for about 2 hours. 3 things that really annoyed me. 1- really needs an adjustable wind screen. It’s a sports touring do Kawasaki hit that one right. 2- only noticed this because being fall it gets dark around 6:00. The head light is very poor. You have to use the high beam At night . So Kawai again hit that one correct. 3-I am just a casual ruder no track days just spirited riding. It almost feels like something wrong with the brakes, not smooth you squeeze hard to get them to do anything 4- since I had the bike long enough I would definitely upgrade seat. After a while the is too soft and does not retain support on long rides., I thought it was just me, but several reviews brought that up. I am going to try the Kawasaki again, , I plan on a sports touring in the spring . I was told take a look at the Yamaha FJR 1300, has not been updated in a while, but not a price range I want to be at.
Well this isn't anything particularly new. Throughout the 80s and 90s, Motorcycle City / Carnell were a huge national chain of multi franchise dealerships, who went under in 2002. Exactly 10 years later, another equally as massive concern, George White went the same way and boy will I remember the day they closed their doors. My local branch had my bike in for warranty work and getting it back was like getting water out of a stone. So this seems to happen every 10 years or so and every time the same people spout the same theories. "Ageing demographic, no young riders, bikes too expensive, too difficult for new riders to get licences", blah blah blah. I've been hearing that all through the 43 years I've been riding. Younger riders don't look at things from a historical perspective. The motorcycle industry has always been like this. Peaks and troughs. When we see the actual manufacturers ceasing production then there'll be cause for concern. Yes Harley Davidson are struggling but that has more to do with evolving trends than no-one out there to buy bikes. The market is simply resetting itself as has happened many times in the past, so no need for the Doom and Gloom. What's happening now isn't anything that hasn't happened before. Oh and fun fact. According to the MCIA. 67,511 people took their Module 2 motorcycle test between April 2021 and March 2022, which the British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF) reports is over 2000 up on the previous record set in 2012-13.
That's a very odd video - guy says the Rebel sucks based basically only on looks while he also seemingly has a lot of fun while riding it 😆
@@Dinh0w did you miss the bit about the “high speed wobble”, the low speed jerkiness, the alternative bikes. Tank wobble, fan noise, shit exhaust sound,
Loads of dealerships have folded up and down the UK, with more to follow once the new NI for business bites ..... predicted this would happen eventually, you cant keep screwing people with overpriced crap and pcp bs

less cotton and polarfleece, more wool. trust me.
Get eather a front wheel chock stand, it will hold the bike upright. And or a scissor jack under the sump/frame. I have an R18. You try getting one of those off the floor. 😮
Hopefully I'll be doing the ride in 2025all things going well. Currently rebuilding a 1970s Triumph Bonneville 😊
it does sound amazing. but how do you pass your mot?
@@DexterDexter123 just put back on the original mufflers, super easy. 10 minute or less job
Is that house sparrows nesting in your helmet? And can you use bus lanes in Scotland?
@@edwardwilson4974 yes, and yes. Unless there is a sign stating no to motorbikes, otherwise all bus lanes are bike lanes as well
You sound exactly like a guy I remember from the durianrider narc videos.
I love my bobber. Only weakness is the rear suspension. Waiting on my CoC springer kit
After fitting a CoC spring to my bobber, I couldn’t stop laughing every time I went over the usual bumps and holes in the road. The difference in comfort is unbelievable.
@ I’ve been testing it and it does such a good job absorbing d harsh bumps that I’m able to stiffen my Fox shocks which is my preference. The trade off is that I feel less planted in my seat when I’m drag racing.
It's funny you mentioned the CoC ... I just ordered one for my 2023
Never put hot water on a salty bike. Use cold water as it will wash off the salt just fine. Hot water will melt the salt so it can find it's way deeper into the parts you can't get at. The melted salt will also form a film that covers everything and will cause corrosion especially in an unheated garage where the air may become damp from condensation.
Good honest review. Riding when you are very cold is not good. Nowadays you need to be as sharp as a pin at all times and being very cold can seriously affect your concentration levels. In fact it can take away the wonderful feeling of riding a motorcycle.
Primark sell thermal fleece lined "leggings" and yes they are in the menswear department for about £8. Everyone has a different tolerance to temperature so who cares if one can withstand biking in the cold in their shorts and another needs several layers. Just another perceived ego trip. I bought cheaper heated gloves too, they're better than nothing but probably worth investing in better quality especially for the finger tips and thumbs to feel the benefit.
I think that here in Brazil it must come with 152 horses, my God, imagine who will drive a motorcycle like that with 152 HP, now the girl's going to be beaten
Remember to cancel your indicators :) Is it warranty ? If not learn to do it yourself and save money :) Before I retired I used to commute to the RIE on the bike the old and new hospital, unless it was snow and ice, riding through "Winter" keeps your riding skills sharp for when the weather improves. Being "tense" whilst riding is not helpful, it fatigues your hands. Wrists and arms and steering input is ruined. This NOT criticism I hope you understand. Bike sounds RORTY BTW :) The other thing is to get an old clunker for cold/winter riding, your tenseness is probably due to the thought of what damage and what cost would be incurred by riding your "pride and joy" EDAM is your local IAM motorcycle training group and getting extra training is a great idea , Ride Safe :) "Scooby" in the service dep't is a great bloke :) Looking at your vid ride, I live not far from you :) I ride an 1987 BMW K75 with 1/4 million miles on it :) Oh don't just fire up the bike for a few mins in the garage over the winter, the oil doesn't get up to temp and increases engine wear and you will get condensation in your exhaust when it cools and that will increase corrosion. And unless your garage is heated, I always take the battery indoors as the cold is a great battery killer, whether you have it on trickle charge or not, as I say I hope you don't take offence, I'm just passing on some of what I've learnt from nearly 50yrs riding :)
the british especially are obsessed with only having maintenance performed by established shops because they also then are obsessed with using ANY excuse to haggle someone down on asking price and "oh well it wasn't maintained by the authorized dealer" is such an easy complaint for them lol. the maintenance was either done or it wasn't, and it's obvious when it wasn't. but it's just a cultural thing there.
Dear oh dear the Scots do moan a lot dont they, -‐----------------------------------------------Yes they moan a lot button.
its cos of our crap weather, it makes us miserable.
Thermal long sleeve top and long john's help.🥶
full ski gear required!
WIMP. Pathetic. I've ridden in snowstorms, ice and have even had frost form on my leathers.
100% agree!
I remember taking my Beemer up to Allan Jeffries in Yorkshire up the M62 I was covered in ice and my beard was frozen solid. I rode all year round from the age of 16 until 30. I fell off a good few times. I used to drive to work 8 miles in between the ruts of snow. It improved my riding no end.
and you survived all of that? many others would have died from that.
Just a normal day on a year round motorcycle rider. ahahah
you guys are another species. a tougher species
Did 10 years of winter commuting on my bikes in the south east of England. Absolute stupidity. Black ice, numbing pain, fear of constant death. Miserable. Plus, the carbs icing up and stalling. Ugh.
i hear a lot of wealthy bankers and politicians pay good money for that kind of treatment
Get some heated grips. Absolute game changer.
100% would end up completely draining my bike battery every week, knowing me.
@midlife-crysis I use mine every day and they don't drain the battery at all. They also switch off with the ignition. Oxford Hot Grips.
Had to ride in the 70s all year round. Long long John's over women's tights. Seaboot socks , sheep skin flyers, boots, waxed over trousers and belstaff jacket over thick crew jumper. Silk glove liners, thick gauntlets and handle bar muffs. Result? Frozen bloody solid. It's crap in bad weather. Now I don't have to, so I don't. The claim riding in bad weather is fun is just a lie end of.
zero fun. zero gains. 100% not doing it if I dont have to again.
A heated jacket is an amazing addition to motorcycle clothing
see them on temu for under £10.... fear it would go on fire while riding. would look cool though
@midlife-crysis get a keiss
🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 yeah I changed my service date to spring 😂
A big saftee..Yeh black ice maybe fun lol
Sad, Looked and sounds like it was a great biking place. At this rate there will be no dealerships left. The two big dealers near to me Triumph and BMW have just closed down. They have Blamed Rachel Reeves budget for their closures. There must be more than this though as all of the dealerships are falling down quicker than Kyle Walker at the moment.
Sounds like a gear issue mate. I ride all year and Im not cold, yet... You didn't mention wearing a rain suit... That's huge. Also the balaclava is a must. Riding on ice.. Ride like you would in a downpour. Keep it straight. If your back tire slides out, pull in the clutch. Use your feet like skis. Keep it straight. Oh, and DON'T ride when there might be ice/snow/slush/hail 😅 See you in January 🫡
LONG JOHNS NEVER LET ME DOWN WIMP.
Your woohoos, exuberance, and pipe noise say it all. Amazing bikes.. I want one.
