Definitely one of the best styles of tutorials and very well done. Thanks for understanding that no words are needed to do a great instructional video.
I completely disagree. Yes it's nice and slow but these aren't the type of lessons I can learn very much from. I guess I'm the type that needs it broken down in sections. Yes I can learn from this lesson but it's going to take a ton of time and I'm going to have to keep going back and forth. I'm more into the way Marty Schwartz would break it down or guitar 365 I can learn from those guys.. still appreciate the video cuz for some reason this is one of the only cool solos in the WORLD that isn't broken down in a good sectional lesson
@@zoocru67 Yeah I think it's a matter of how long you've been playing and how well you know the scale. Most of this I could get by ear, but this lesson was perfect for the couple of parts I couldn't figure out. I like Marty too though!
Thank you!! great tutorial...addressed exactly what I couldn't solve for myself...but can you share your rig and settings? Try as I might, I can't get the sound right
Hey 👋 thanks for the comment. I used my Marshall jmp and nothing else. If you want to listen the right tone, please visit my channel and subscribe. I made another video with the Octavian fuzz. Kenny always uses strat plus Octavian fuzz.
That was fantastic. I'm not sure if it was note for note because I haven't heard the original for a while, but you captured the right vibe and I enjoyed it. 10/10
So what is he doing at 0:29 to get that sound? Not the bend up but that high pitch pop from the low strings? I can't tell if there is a lighting fast up strum? I don't play, I just love guitar.
Great job! Great instructional video! None of that "beginner" rap from the "teacher" that bores the daylights out of me "waiting" for the "good stuff"!

Like so many others have stated, THis is a great lesson . Its to the point and gets er done . Drives me nuts when they blather on about the movement and placement of every finger, just show me what you're doing and where its at and good to go, along with the ear. Im way impressed , as I rarely go for perfection, as im just to lazy and impatient to go that rout, unless absolutely necessary, but stay within the bounds close enough to convince all but other players for the most part . Good job man , you got the feel for sure. Subbed.
For what it's worth it showed up in the group of videos when I looked this one up you see them on the right was halfway down when I was scrolling hope that it's there and you find it just started working on this one myself this guy's greatb
@@PaulAudiaChannel One of your replies was the tone was just you and a Marshal - so were you not using any pedals? Great video by the way of one of my favorite bits of lead guitar work
Haha gotta get the harmonics and phrasing going on with a bit of break up on the amp. Not sure if there's a particular pedal he uses. Awesome playing ....

Holy $%!t someone who actually plays the solo correct. Hate the algorithm, just saw this years later.
It's better late than never, man! :)
Finally, someone who teaches the way I learn.
Honestly more tutorials should be exactly like this one.
Finally! Someone can actually play it right! Great job!
thanks mate!
strong feel- often missing from guitar solos these days. This kid has that feel, he's inside every note he plays. Great stuff!

Very nicely played
The perfect guitar solo lesson. All the details, perfect speed. Thanks!
