Trans-Am was my favorite series next to the Can Am. I had a 70 AMX and my buddy had a 69 Camaro and we would watch all the races at Laguna back in 1970 -74. Best of times.
Man this is foooooooood! Talk about memories! And we race some of these as 1/32 scale slot cars , non traction magnet. Its great for my 7 year old to see what the real cars look and sound like!
You do an awesome job shooting & editing these videos! : ) I even caught a glimpse of the # 71 Silver Clemens Camaro - COOL ! That was originally my father's car : ) I'm proud to see it running again. Keep up the great work! -Robin Clemens : ) (aka: Robin Banks)
Thank you so much!!!! This was great. I just watched a video with Ferrari 599 downshifting and the sound was so irritating I looked for a video filled with American Muscle downshifting. THIS VIDEO SATISFIED!
i wish i was from a city where everybody drove trans am track cars.besides the crashes, everybodies going the same pace(at least).just looking like a school of fish.

Best racing series ever!
music to the ears .. I've always been a sucker for the sound of American V8s.
great video only wish there was more of it. I could watch this stuff all day long.
@robinbanksproduction Thanks. I love these cars and have many great memories of my friends and me watching them race at Laguna back in the day.
Glad you like the videos. There are more on the way.
Perfect sounds....

Classic Trans Am cars on Laguna Seca... it doesn't get any better than this in American racing!
Oh yeah would love to go to that track too!
Ahh, the musical sound of beasts!!
Trully a great vid, thanks for posting.
Again...Verry cool!...Thank you.
The Falcon was so cool and fast. It has a full interior, and I heard it is street legal and the guy drove it to the track!
I love them old 1960-63 Falcons.
thats a lot of muscle! sweeet, didnt they race 1st gen monte carlos and roadrunners to?
Wow this is great
i love that falcon!!
and haha, i like how at the very end all 3 primary colors and all 3 pony cars are represented. what a coincidence
Smokey Yunick Camaro at 1:36
Mark Donohue!!
Not in the Trans-Am of that era (1966-72). It was primarily pony cars, with the occasional Dodge Dart or Falcon thrown in in the early years.
No Corvettes?

sir, i believe that is a '70-71 challenger. but yes it did stand out to me :D
@TheAntihero6212 400+ BHP in your ear and soooooooo worth it. And besides, that's what ear plugs are for.
@princedavid0 Amen.
0:30-0:40 - Talk about rotating through a corner.
Too bad the Mercury Cougar only appeared twice.
I believe that was Nascar.
Cool, but it's not really a race when you're scared of hurting your car.
woooww lets go challenger!!!!!!
oops, i'm sorry.
haha
