I had a 1967 red GTO 400 4-speed in 1971 when I was 17. My wife’s brother had a turquoise 1966 impala 396/325 auto that he rolled in an accident . So he had a guy put the engine / transmission in a 1965 red impala with the black buckets and console . I actually took the rear differential and installed it in the 65 for him . They were both neat cars . Unfortunately he died in a head on collision in April 1972. A lot of memories in those cars. I currently have a 1964 c10 and a 1965 c10 with 327 engines in both that have rebuilt. Both are being updated. I think you explained upgrading your the big four wiring very well indeed. I plan to use your advice in my trucks . Thank you for a great site . I love your explaining the 65 / 66 full size Chevy differences also . Most people do not understand them . Thanks again.
