As someone who loves making modpacks I really do like this, I have spent over 5 years working, reworking and, making modpacks better set to what I want them to be. As such I find this quite nice since it looks like you have truly put in the time to make something you truly enjoy and is truly what you want it to be. I am sure the pond will be great and I wish you guys the best of luck with what you are making.
I relate to this. I have spent a long time building and rebuilding modpacks. My style has evolved and I have cultivated my own modpack style in the many iterations of packs that I have made. There is something just so rewarding in building something for your friends and having them explore something that you've put so much time into. And as of right now I have been given the opportunity to continue work on a pack that my gaming group plays on and its been so wonderful. I too hope that the pond and those who find themselves in it have a wonderful time
The fact that I won’t likely ever be able to be part of this experience being on PS4 only and unable to pay for multiplayer as money is tight, this server/world sounds like a dream, and the videos you make for it look and sound like a slice of heaven and peace, keep doing what your doing, your world sounds wondrously beautiful and I hope it continues to excels.

I’ve been quietly keeping an eye on what you’ve been doing ever since your vid exploded, I love what your doing and I’m a little torn because of it. On one hand I think I’d really enjoy it and I could really benefit from being a part of a community again and finding new people to hang out with. Though on the other hand despite the fact that I don’t really struggle in social situations much and I can even really enjoy them, but I always retreat into my lonely little shell or I keep to myself and never really reach out to begin with. However I feel the even bigger problem is that I really just burn out far to fast, and so I tend be really into something for a week or so before I just disappear for months before coming back. It’s due to both physical and mental health issues that mean I really don’t have much energy for anything beyond basic life stuff + the meds I take to keep things manageable all have symptoms of drowsiness which definitely doesn’t help lol. But anyway, I do really wanna give the pond a shot because it seems like a lot of fun, it’s the kinda experience that might reawaken my love for Minecraft, and It’s probably a good idea for me (and my mental health) to find people I can connect with. But I just can’t convince myself to take that step nor that I’ll be active enough in the community to get in, and even if I do get in I might not even play frequently enough to justify me getting in instead of someone else…
I've been very quiet, and just watching this experiment. Very much interested in this evolution and hope you realize your vision. It would be interesting to see pond clones develop into independent tribes , and perhaps through the network, find ways to occasionally unite representative of the tribes into events and stories to be shared here on TH-cam.
Can't wait!!! Joining this community halfway through was already a blast, I can't even imagine how fun it's gonna be to learn and explore everything together

I generally say vanilla+ is vanilla with slight tweaks and improvements, small editions and changes. Vanilla++ is what I would call vanilla style modpacks that make major changes and enhancements to the gameplay loop
Did you consider Dynamic Trees for this modpack? It's probably one of my favorite mods for how "simple" it is, scope wise. I think it makes everything look better, I love making gardens with the arbory features it allows.
Glad to be part of this community ❤ So much was accomplished during this first season. We built houses, had common projects, erected cities, killed people with pans and anvils, made lifelong friendships... I'm excited to see what season 2 has to offer, it's going to be incredible ❤
Hey there, just scrolling through the mods I noticed in the 2.0.2 version of the modpack the mod Ecologics is present twice. Idk, if that was my launcher bugging out, or if it is actually like that in the modpack. I thought I'd let you know anyways, in case it's something you can and want to fix. Also, crazy good video, the script, your cadence, the imagery, everything was so beautiful, I wish nothing but the best for your server and the community. ^^

As a person who loves the play Minecraft with friends but with the problem of time zones and a busy/hard personal life I wouldn’t be able to join this beautiful pond even if i did I wouldn’t be that active but i would love to play it if it was a mod pack if i can figure out how those work again but i can feel that a-lot of people cant wait to join this pond and i hope it continues to thrive for those people
Once again, I really hope the opportunity opens for me to enter The Pond. I'll certainly try to be active, if that's what it takes, because this is a community and server I've been hoping and waiting for. Here's to a new era of The Pond, hopefully one I get to be a part of.
The modpack will be released the same day as the server, since we still have some testing to do. We will however release some sneak peeks of mods featured in the modpack ;))
i honestly think this is the perfect minecraft for me. maybe this is why I love Hytale so much, the richness and general vibe in the world is second to none.

I really love the pond idea and i want to be part of it but in a way it scares me that when a lot of fish get into the pond it may be some sharks in that same group
If people don't want or can't pay for their own server with your community, wouldn't you consider a patreon or similar idea where fans can help fund the pond and allow you to pay for a bigger server capacity and have everyone join?
Imagine if somebody made a mod that includes AI functions, that generates new structures, that AI created. This would honestly be epic. I hope some modcreators will see this comment and actually think about it. This would be really a gamechanger for minecraft modpacks.

I joined the discord last night. But I just found out that I've been removed. I've did nuthing wrong and completed the sine in. I'm just rather confused. I didn't even get a noticed.
Ohoy! We have a feature that removes members that havent "reacted" with a thumbs up on the rules message (the first page you get to when you open the invite) Nothing to worry about. It's only a feature to make sure that everyone has read the rules for the Discord server. It should work fine with just trying again and to make sure that you're reacted to the rules :)) If not, then let me know!

I like this classification, it encompasses the packs in a limbo of vanilla-styled yet still content rich.

Scale doesnt only take a toll on the wallet. It takes a lot of administrative work too, and I simply cannot manage that with how my life is now ;))
What world gen mod will you guys be using?? Tectonic, and Terralith together is a pretty iconic mix
