Palladium is fantastic on a Mage pawn. The spell can be cast on allies, and they're pretty good about keeping the spell active on you. It makes high damage characters like Thief and Sorcerer even better since you essentially can't be staggered for those three hits
Halidom is so useful. I don't get why more people don't have it equipped on their mages. Give me a mage with the three Affinity spells and Halidom, and i'll never switch them off.
Awesome, been waiting for this. I usually play support role in games and I've been excited to see this video. I know being support Arisen isn't usually something people do but I enjoy keeping everyone topped up, protected and etc. I can't wait to get the game myself and play around with it
@@sykioh prioritize all you can dude. I’ve seen you start videos on other games. So make sure you don’t forget about them. But I understand new stuff comes first. Keep on keeping on my man
@@sykioh oh if you do plan to make another FF16 video I recommend making an updated version of the last video you made. Same as before but with all elemental spells (of course with the exception of Leviathan), and there’s points in the game where you transform into either Ifrit or the Phoenix and they have their own movesets as well
It's just sad that right after I purchase the FF16 DLC and my PS5 encountered some rare bug. I'm applying for warranty, by the time i get my ps5 back I'll probably miss Stellar Blade I guess. Maybe I'll just wait for the pc version.
It does it just can't heal the worn out health. As you and your pawns take damage repeatedly you lose a bit more of your overall health till you rest at a inn or campsite.
I saw your sorcerer video as well. They made the mage class more powerful and sorcerer weaker. So both classes are more balanced. Ok, I can go with that. For a first playthrough I'll go with mage, then sorcerer in the next one. Of course I'm gonna miss the sorcerer from DD1, they were a freaking force of nature, but in DD2 they are still pretty good and spellcasting is shorter, with a core skill is even shorter, I think would be overkill if we had high bolide, seism and maelstrom in that setting, I wouldn't mind though 😅

Agreed. Three Affinity and Halidom all of them are must have!
Yeah, from experience ddda. Halidom is battle proving useful
3 affinity spells why? I opt for Halidom, Empyr, Silence and Pallidum. I know there’s misspellings in here lol
I wish we had an option to just filter by all 4 skills lmfao or at least 2. I only need Celerity and Halidom, give me that and we're set
everything looks so different and high quality, its weird how much its changed over the years
Over the years? You mean this game? The game that hasn't even been out for a year? Or are you talking about what it looked like in development?
@@newrealitygaming3933prob meant since the last game or smthn idk

Ngl mage would become even more useful then before
Good showcase and very useful for my upcoming solo playthrough. I would appreciate
Trickster showcase too
Nice work Sykioh, are you going to cover the new DLC for FF16
I hadn't realized that the DLC had already been released. Let me check it out.
Very good class
Gicel... Frazil... Miasma... So many cool ones were left out...
Thank you :)
I miss the old Halidom 😢
tfw the Mage looks cooler than the Sorceror in DD2.
Thank you ❤
Do the affinity spells change the damage of the magic projectile?
Yo! Your videos Dragon’s Dogma 2 rock. What do you plan to do afterwards?
@dynamo7685 Stellar Blade is up next after DD2. Considering the release of the FF16 DLC today, I think I'll prioritize it now.

@dynamo7685 Hi Dynamo, right now my ps5 is broken, so I guess I'll miss Stellar Blade and FF16 DLC. What a bad timing, sigh.

No grapnel :(
Grapnel was the lightning whip right?
@hidan407 no it was the spell that grabbed enemies, but now that you mention it I miss that too
7:10 - huh, it doesn't seem like "fully recovers", there is a bit of black space left on the health bar.

@@RangerJoe77 , I see, thanks for the explanation.
@@Leonion6 No prob 👍
Sorcerer next pls
how manny skills can you set? 4?
Celestial Paean seems like a waste, takes so long to cast and only lasts 15sec, thats just enough time to cast any basic spell, LMAO
if you equip 2 recitation rings (which you should on mage pawns always) they cast it really fast and makes it more worth using
What pants is that? Looks good
L on this game for not putting dark element
Is this supposed to be a magia baiser cosplay?
Istg i had a mage bawn and it had a spell that removes a certain pourcentage of the HP reduction system bar. I don't know what it was

How many classes are left
Wah Lionel seems so happy and excited to be healed by a Big breasts woman yeah!! Hes looking at her oppais very "happily"...
so few spells... lame..
But better than a lot of spells in some games
Extremely boring class
Yeah man like us😢
@@z-iceberg3562 😂
its primarily a support class so i see why it can be boring as arisen but really nice on pawns
