Sitting in the parking lot of the temple this morning as it is the only place I desire to be. I've listened to this presentation a few times and can't tell you how much of a blessing it has been. Going through a fire these last few months and trying to formulate strength to endure it well has been tough. I've not done it perfectly up to this point, but I am learning, understanding so much about this subject of the fellowship of Christ. Thank you for the extra push and inspiration I've so needed. I ordered the book and can't wait to dive in. Take care 🤍

There is some very important meat in here and obviously it took time and effort to produce. I sincerely and humbly thank you for your sacrifice.

Some people translate “suffer the little children” to mean “encourage or teach them to come to Christ”. I read it like “if you want to come to Christ, you will go through the suffering required to righteously raise children”. You truly have a gift, Cameron. Thanks for sharing.

I love it. And so much of that is the patience and longsuffering we must possess while those we serve are still figuring things out for themselves.

Thank you Cameron for your spirit filled and thoughtful presentation. I love the way you teach and the animations you use helps to highlight the point in a method that makes it more clear. I too love Terry Warner's work.
Learned a lot today and have work to do. Bless you.

You’ve laid it out beautifully! One of the best explanations I’ve heard on this topic. Well done:). When Christ said in John 13:34-35 that we should love others as he loved us, he wasn’t just making that statement in the abstract but literally. The hallmark of a true disciple is how much they are willing to suffer for their brethren. This is the love Christ gave though rarely recognized by those whom it was for. So too will his true disciples follow this pattern.

This was excellent. Really catalyzed a lot of thoughts I’ve been having lately about “eternal perspective”, the higher law Christ taught in the sermon on the mount etc.
Cameron, have you read any of Adam Miller’s work - “Original Grace”; “An Early Resurrection” - if not I think it’s worth it. All of these are great thoughts that expound all the gospel in one. Thanks 🙏

There r a lot of understandings that experience brings (dc 122.7) it’s why HOPE is the older sister of the three re: faith & charity b/c w/o experience we won’t really know how to exercise faith & administer forth charity.
The suffering is really patience the hallmark of every true disciple
    (James 1.4)!
As we walk this life with patience (Heb 12.1) it allows the time to allow the spirit to have time to do & completed (2 Ne 32.3-5) through us what is the wise (Mosiah 8.20) course to be fulfilled.
The rhythm of obedience (Alma 57.21) which we maintain allows us to DO what we r being inspired (Hel 5.31) to do each day (3 Ne 13.34).

Wowwww. That was mind altering. Years ago, I watched a really old version of Les misérables. I cried and cried and cried when I saw the scene of the bishop and his generosity. Now I understand why that hit me so hard. I'm so grateful for that example that you shared. Being so sanctified, as to be able to forgive other people's wrongs with so much love that it changes them is really helpful and something to strive for, with the help of the Lord.

I feel like the following Book of Mormon story relates to what you are saying. The total surrender, unselfishness and love of those who were murdered, STUNG the hearts of their murderers and changed their natures. Alma 24:22-24 " And thus without meeting any resistance, they did slay a thousand and five of them; and we know that they are blessed, for they have gone to dwell with their God.
      23. Now when the Lamanites saw that their brethren would not flee from the sword, neither would they turn aside to the right hand or to the left, but that they would lie down and perish, and praised God even in the very act of perishing under the sword-
      24. Now when the Lamanites saw this they did forbear from slaying them; and there were many whose hearts had swollen in them for those of their brethren who had fallen under the sword, for they repented of the things which they had done.
Terry Warner talks about sacrificing the taking of offense. I feel like sacrificing taking offense is really powerful in our day to day lives. It makes me think of how to LIVE the principle of surrendering to the Lord. ( I loved it so much I made a little video with his words. th-cam.com/video/rg7LpjVaoco/w-d-xo.html)

They’re both products of the Arbinger Institute, which was founded by Terry Warner-though those books specifically are written by Jim Ferrel (at least primarily, I’m not sure who else may have contributed).

I enjoy the materials on this channel a lot but using William Clayton as a source is very questionable. Just saying...

    • @Sal_y_Luz
      @Sal_y_Luz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Why does the messenger matter at all? If William Clayton was a faithful recorder of important information then so be it. We need to learn to stop being “respecters of persons” and valuing the message of truth that is given no matter who it is from. I guarantee that if we don’t learn this important precept, then we will reject the message of a potential end time Davidic servant and we would have rejected Christ as well for both these important people came and will come to us in a manner that is outside of our traditions.
