I just got my bracket 2 days ago. It fell off when I was asleep. I kept perfect care of my braces, making sure to brush them carefully, flossing well, etc, etc.
This can happen, possibly the surface of the teeth were not cleaned appropriately or were wet...Just go back to the Orthodontist.

no this is not a major concern as you have only just had your bonding completed. Do make an appointment to get it fixed though.

I’m so glad I can relate to these comments because I had it fall off 2 times now and it’s in the same place each time to the left side of my mouth.. I don’t think it’s a dire need and can wait until next appointment since it’s not really in the position that needs fixing and I’ve only had them like 3 or 4 months but idk these comments made me feel better.

if its the back ones then is ok unlesss its pokey if its the more forward ones then call orthodontist/dentist but you could be biting on it so tell them if theres anything they can help with

1 bracket of mine just fell off today, and I didn’t eat any hard food. It’s just too frustrating coz I just had my dental appointment yesterday. My dentist might think that I am doing it for a reason coz this is the 3rd time that it happened to my teeth. After the appointment I only ate oatmeal for lunch, noodles for dinner and taho (filipino food) for breakfast. 🥺😩😑😫😣

The one on the end of my teeth (right molar) molar fell off, I think it's called a tube? should I be alarmed? I will be visiting the dentist soon tho but I'm just bothered how long will is considered 'too long' to wait for it to get fixed?
How soon until you will see the orthodontist? 1 week? A few days? If it's just a few days, they will probably tell you to just wait and it would be ok as long as you are not in pain.

This can happen, it's possible that when they were placing the bracket that the surface was not entirely clean...Just ring your Orthodontist and schedule an appointment to get it put back on.

My bracket has fallen off at least 4 times. And it’s the same exact bracket. It’s incredibly annoying. Sometimes I don’t even do anything and it just feel it come off. It hasn’t fallen off yet, but I’m embarrassed because every time I go back, I tell them my bracket has fallen off. I get it’s normal but it happens way too often, I haven’t even had my braces for a year yet.
Have you asked them to investigate why the bracket is repeatedly falling off? Is it the surface of the tooth? Is it the pressure from the wire? There will be a reason why it is falling off, ensure your orthodontist and not just a technician is investigating this for you.

You should go back and get this fixed up please. Do not be embarrassed this is a regular occurrence for any orthodontic office. Do not delay treatment due to a little inconvenience :)

Doc, my last molar bracket fell off. I have self-ligating braces and I live far far away from my orthodontist. My bracket fell off in the back of my mouth when I was eating a grape. It's poking me and it's hurting my tongue it's hurting also the back of my mouth. The orthodontist helper that did it was her first time it took 20 minutes to get it on. I already had braces it's just that my teeth had grown out to put braces on them to. Now I have to wait two days to fix it cause it's a Sunday their not open and on Monday it's Presidents day so it's not open again😡

This can happen, just contact your Orthodontist and they will get you back in to fix that up
Ok, so one of my brackets were loose about a week or two ago. I kept wax on it until my next appointment by the way. I was going to brush my teeth before bed like usual so I took the wax out and my bracket came out with the wax. Luckily it’s my orthodontist appointment today and I hope they don’t get mad at me. When they put my braces on a few weeks ago the brackets in the back on my left side we’re too high, and my tooth would touch the bracket instead of my other tooth. I was careful to not bite too hard because I knew my tooth could just pop it off. I was eating a lo and behold, the bracket popped off. I just hope they believe me when I say it wasn’t in the right spot :((. Oh! Another thing, they put my bottom wire on before my top, but I noticed that my top brackets kinda,, slid? I can see the paste where they were supposed to be, and they’re moved upward. I noticed it in the car right after I initially got them put on. I think I have a bad dentist :(

Hi, I was eating some candy and my back molar bracket slid of the wire... clearly I wasn't being more careful with what I was eating!!... I've kept the bracket in a small tub somewhere, will this be reapplied at my next appointment in 5 weeks?? The wire that the bracket was on doesn't seem to be rubbing against my gum or causing me pain so can I just leave that??
I would just make a quick call to your Orthodontist to see whether it needs to be placed more urgently then at your next appointment. If it's not urgent then they will just place it again at your next appointment.
Oh my lord I got braces 3 days ago , I got back from my putting on appointment , I was sitting on my bed and I heard a pop and I felt pain in one of my bottom teeth (the one next to the very front ones) and I went over to the mirror and saw I have a floating bracket...THE FIRST DAY, DOING NOTHING. I want to ask you that my bracket have fallen down and my braces are placed yesterday only,
Does it matters if we leave it for 2 days or how it will affect us?
As you are so new to treatment this delay should not be an issue
I woke up and a band slipped off my back tooth. I’m closing my gaps to get my braces off just to wake up to it sliding up and down my back tooth. Good thing I have an appointment in a week.
I'm so scared right now cause I was chewing on something and I heard a pop and the back bracket broke and it came out and this is my third time my braces have broken and my mom has gotten mad at me for doing that, and idk when my next orthodontist appointment is so I'm even more scared;-; help

It's fine. Even if your teeth gets shifted on the wrong place, the orthodontist can shift them bac again. So, no worried. Btw same problem here
So what do i do i literally went to the dentist to get a loose bracket fixed and it came off an hour later my eating rice. What i do?

@@elcocaino8728 i think it's better if you take it off instead of risking the swallowing of metal. Even I broke the bracket at the end and I just took it off. It even feels better when I brush it. We don't know how many days this lockdown will last...btw sorry for the late reply( ps. Idk which bracket you broke, but I hope it's the end, that'd be easier to take off)

I had 2 brackets came out in a week 🤦♀️ the first one came out when I ate chicken and the other one came out when I brush the teeth and both are at the bottom last teeth one left one right...
