I like to try things myself before reaching out for help. I found this video & 'OMG' it was a HUGE help! I re-installed 2 fresh locs myself with the help of this easy tutorial!! Thank you so much!! For anyone wondering how to take this out: you can pretty much find your braid inside the loc with your fingers, pull it out so they’re in 2 separate piece (but still attached) & just cut the loc off as far up as you can go without cutting your hair. When you unbraid your hair the knotted part will just come loose
That is exactly what I was wondering. I can't afford to lose any more hair strands being a fine, high porosity hair girl with recent breakage. Ya' hear me!!!!!

I spent the better part of the night doing & redoing 1 or 2 thinking "if I can just get the hang of it" but the tool keeps snagging & the loops are hard to undo. Going to see if I can do this with passion twists instead, although I'm not holding my breath, but i can't cornrow to save my life so if I can find a hair that's easier to pull a plait through it'll be a game changer for me.

I struggled with pulling my hair thru the pic…It’s either the brand I purchased or the thickness of my individual braids. I used Janet Collection Nala Treas Gypsy Butterfly locs. End result was nice, but….
You don’t even have to cut the loop just pull your braid from out the loc. It was pulled in it can be pulled out. I would still suggest a short wrap around the top tho. Cuz ion know how this gon look without that

My hair wld not pull through. I tried making sure the clip didn’t close while going the faux loc. made sure it wasn’t going in and out of the faux. This look simple but wasn’t for me

Thanks for this! I have really long hair and the only method I ever saw to hide the natural hair was by wrapping more hair around the loc😭

Can I use the rubber band method I’m not great with plaiting?
Problem is.... how do u take that out?
Cut the loop at the top of the extension carefully, then slide it down and out of your braid.
