Verify pretty Loveth! I wish more companies made dark grey hair ( no sliver )) faux locs too because alot of us over 50 would buy them up! We lIke to do protective styles too and the key ( for me ) to a achieving the 'real ' look is matching the faux to your natural hair color.

You did a good job for not knowing how to do it! I would keep the short tail of hair for wrapping because it does make the locs look nice and clean from the base out, but I can see cutting it off for the locs in the back that won’t get seen much

If you can't find that particular loc just purchase a crochet loc that you like and crochet your hair through it. (Individual crochet method) take a small piece of marley to wrap it if u want extra security

I dont think it matters your hair length it's more ro conceal the first inch or two from the roots to give it a seamless blend. The full length of your natural hair shouldnt be exposed ☺
TheChristianNicole Yes I agree with you. The length doesn’t become an issue unless it’s as long as the loc if that’s the case using another method would best. But other than that, like shown in the video,the braid is hidden once it’s pulled into the loc it self. Either way she did a great job. Stayblessed ladies😊

I tried the butterfly locs on my hair 2wks ago for my vacation to Mexico. Got so many compliments. I'm excited to try these! Thank you for such an easy-to-follow, crisp, and detailed video.
Its just a idea but if u have a crochet needle then take the end of the hair and create your own loose end. say u want hair to be 12 in length then buy next size up take a inch or so tie around the needle and unravel the short end.

Feel free to cut off the loose hair over the cornrows. I had the hair for over 5 weeks and the loop didn’t loosen
