I miss the dynamite tile. The new 3D piece is cool, but that printed tile just screams classic lego

I agree... the modern dynamite is awesome, but I have a lot of fond memories of the old printed tile.
      Thanks for watching! 😎👍

I agree the classic dynamite is better.

The classic dynamite was even used to "explode" something in another set in this theme! The tile shape was vital to making that happen.

Those cannons were definitely the best projectile launcher Lego made. Cool little set, miss the classic dynamite.

Agreed! So much better than stud shooters, in my opinion... they looked good, and worked great!

Owning this set for 26 years now. Until this moment I didn't know there was a hidden compartment! :D... great review!

Honeslty that old cloth cover looks better and it's far more authentic. Try watch some old spaghetti western, everything is dirty, dusty and worn out.

True... but every time I look at it, it just reminds me that I was terrible at keeping things nice as a kid, lol. 😄 Thanks for watching!

My first ever Lego set when little along with the cavalry patrol. I set those guys up as a convoy and used Chief Big Rattlesnake and his warriors from Rapid River Village (my big birthday present) and Buffalo Medicine Man along with Tom O'Hawk from Raindance Ridge (a gift from my grandmother) to chase them around just like the wagon chases in How the West Was Won and Land Raiders. I was a very western-obsessed kid growing up.

Very cool, I always wanted the western sets as a kid, but that was around when the PS1 and N64 came out so my parents weren’t about to spoil me even more.

This was my second lego set I ever got as a after the racing course you reviewed, too. This combined just so well with the fort legoredo that I got at Christmas a year later and though they were the only two western sets I had, I spent countless hours playing and rebuilding, adding my own gold mines, using all that wood to build western towns etc. etc.
LEGO gave me such an awesome way to express myself as a kid I don't know what I would've done without it!
Edit: I almost forgot that I got that "accessories pieces" Western set they sold back then. For a really small price you got soo many weapons, hats, dollar bills (I didn't have any otherwise), it allowed me to suit up other figures I had populate my Western world!

I remember getting this and the sheriffs lockup. I see why my parents didn't want to splurge for the fort lol

I remember buying Covered Wagon (a.k.a. Weapons Wagon) at Legoland California back in 1999.

I remember having this set! Well, aside from the firing cannon. Still a fun set!

I agree, the old style cannons were the best. Great video, looking forward to the next!

I have a clone of this set and the cannon doesn't have the shooting feature, it's just a solid

The worn slightly discolored cover should've been made purposely and carefully if you wanted a few wagons that looked like they've been on long travels I wish I could make them myself it be really nice Detail is the best and I think it would have been a good idea ugh I still hate myself for not buying bout ten of those that set is worth 8 bucks they also could made a troop wagon as well the only sets I've ever gotten was the 3 calvary soldiers and think the set with black Bart and flat foot Thompson for some reason I didn't feal for the western and I was more into the castle and pirate theme I loved the Civil War/western times and can't bleave I passed on theyse magnificent sets but they will take up room where you won't have any in your home to buy more sets lol

Suppose there was one without that US Cavalry badge on either side and make it into a normal covered wagon?
