    🔵 What Video About
In this tutorial, I dive into improving your model's appearance in plasticity by tweaking the shading mode to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing, blurred highlight effect, especially beneficial for smooth, organic shapes. I'll guide you through the process of accessing and modifying matcap files to enhance the red shading mode's appearance, providing a clear step-by-step for both Mac and Windows users. Along the way, I demonstrate how to locate the matcaps folder, how to manipulate the EXR files using Photoshop for a custom shading effect, and how to ensure your models look stunning in plasticity. Additionally, I tease the upcoming launch of the Plasticity Accelerator Membership, promising an abundance of high-quality tutorials for creating beautiful organic shapes in plasticity.

Wow! This is great. I am Shop savvy, so I just made a crazy funky iridescent color, instead of the shiny red. Much better!!🤩

How did you add the additional row of matcaps? I only have 2 rows of matcaps and I would love it to add more.

simply adding them to the folder doesn't do the trick

Perfect , I can swap a coup;e out . Does it support just adding them like blender does ? I'll have to have go when I get home. I'm still working through some of your courses rite now.
It's a nice change from blender.

I don't use Blender so I don't know how it works there. But you can find all the mat caps in the specified Plasticity folder where you can just exchange them to your own ones you like.
      Glad you enjoy the courses!
