Woww ...this is so magical..I usually drive past Dullstroom without realizing that it has such magnificent places. Our Country is indeed beautiful..Your video production quality is out of this world
Thank you Mark. Hubby has just booked a little getaway for us and the kids at the Dunkeld Country Estate after seeing your video. It's been a very rough few days for us and this is exactly what we need 🙏
Leigh, the fact that you guys booked after watching this video makes my heart so happy. That’s the entire point. Thank you for taking the time to watch our video and to comment. I can’t wait to hear about your Dullstroom adventure. Please keep me in the loop 🇿🇦❤️
Went to Dullstroom to film for Mr Price sports when their Comrades Runners trained there at altitude. You have filmed this so beautifully and it’s truly a gem in SA. Love the Channel and love what you guys do. Great story telling, filming and editing. Well done!
Jacques, what an awesome comment. Thank you for taking the time to watch our video and comment. Means the world when you put all this effort into these videos and people respond in a positive way. Thank you!
Beautiful town, you can tell its a tourist attraction and they here from all over the world especially from the UK. Me personally I think I would now feel comfortable to buy a house here. Everyone is so nice!
@@likeatourist yup and I'm starting to feel proud. You have to know though, once you do get your property down here no longer will it be Dullstroom to you. You shall then call it "Dullies" 😅
Great video Mark and team. Having spent 10 years in Dullstroom (2008 to 2017) your production definitely captures the mood, feeling and everything that is Dullstroom. Very special place with wonderful people. Well Done.
Jez, that is probably the best compliment and we will take it with both hands. Considering you lived there, you of all people know just how special Dullstroom is and it really has a special place in my heart. I hope this video goes far and wide, and promotes Dullstroom in a massive way at the same time. Thanks for watching and commenting. Means the world to us!
Nicky, thank you so much for watching the video. We really just want to showcase South Africa to the rest of the world and show everyone why we think it's the most beautiful country on earth. We're actually getting into our car this weekend to make more videos!
Absolutely LOVE this video on one of the BEST little towns in South Africa, a place of my family’s history (my grandmother was born, raised and lived there), and now my parents live there🥰 It is a unique little town with so many beautiful souls🥰 Make sure to pop into the Heritage Centre to get the low down on all the history of the town 🥰
Carmen, first of all you are an absolute legend. Second of all, thank you for your support. Thank you for watching the video and for taking the time to comment. Next time we will make our way to the Heritage Centre for sure. Pinky promise even!
I fully agree. I went crazy over Dullstrom last year. What started as a couple's weekend at Critchley Hackle ended with me coming back to shoot pictures of Connemara lodges. After those two trips, I then convinced my friends to book for a winter weekend getaway. Heaven! I'd do it again. 😁
Ingrid, you have great taste. Dullstroom is truly magical. Thanks for taking the time to watch our video and for commenting. Every bit of support goes such a long way! Here's to more South Africans acting like tourists in their own country!
Solly, this makes my heart so happy. The whole reason we started making these videos is to inspire South Africans to act like tourists in their own country and visit local destinations that weren't previously on the top of their list. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video and comment. Every bit of support goes such a long way!
Wow! What a great video. It’s been in my inbox for a while but finally relaxed with it. Babel and Work of Time are on my list too… but you must try Black Pearl (Boutique Wine Estate) Mischief Maker and the Mouvedre. Didn’t know Dullstroom offered so much and the mist adds to the mood! Historical aspects were so interesting too!
Great video! Even as a Dullstroom resident myself, I have to say that you have made some observations about the town that I hadn't quite articulated myself. Particularly, the diversity of experiences that are available: nature and serenity right next to a rowdy bar. This video captures Dullstroom very succinctly.
Duncan, I think this is one of the best compliments we could receive, especially when coming from a local. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and for commenting. It helps our small channel become a bigger channel.
Thanks so much, Kev. I really do hope this video makes more people want to visit. I would call that a job well done if more people become enticed to visit Dullstroom!
Han, thank you so much for watching our video and even bigger love for taking the time to like and comment. These may seem like small actions but they have a massive impact on our channel. So thank you so much!
Cannelle, thank you so much for watching the video. Really means so much to us when people give of their time and attention to our passion project. As a matter of interest, have you ever been to Dullstroom before?
Tanya, the best feeling in the world is when you pour your heart and soul into a passion project and people respond with love. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. You’ll never fully know what it means to us. Here’s to acting like a tourist in our own country 🇿🇦❤️
Des, this is such a great idea and I think so many people do this. But beware, you might get to Dullstroom and not want to leave 😂 Thanks for taking the time to watch our video and comment. Means the world to our small team and I 🇿🇦❤️
Wow! Wow! Wow! I've never been to Dullstroom (I know 🙈), but now it's on my bucket list!! It is absolutely magnificent! Well done on this beautiful video of our breathtakingly beautiful South Africa!
Tiana, you don't know how excited we get when someone tells us they've never been to Dullstroom before but thanks to this video, it's on their bucklist. Thank you for taking the time to watch and support this video. And we really appreciate that you would even leave this encouraging comment. Means more to us than you will know.
Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment. Dullstroom has a special place in my heart which is why I knew it had to be the next destination that we shoot after Knysna. I'm hoping the video shines a spotlight on their magical town, because it really is a special place!
How inspiring was that adventure. Such a shame on our many travel through SA from Rhodesia ... and to Dullstroom, we did not experience all of what we have had the privilege to see with you Mark. Happy adventures Mark and thank you.
Russell, this makes my heart so happy. The entire reason we make these videos is to encourage people to act like tourists in their own country. Thanks for giving our video some air time. Means so much to us.
Great job Mark and team! Dullstroom is brilliant. I love doing some mountain biking in the area. There’s a good path running alongside the train tracks that takes you out towards a bunch of dams
Thanks for checking the video out, Stuart. And appreciate the comment. As you say, Dullstroom is a special place. The weather didn't allow us to do as much outdoor stuff as intended but all the more reason to return!
Thanks Doc. I will never forget the few times we visited Dunkeld together. That first time was as the leaves of the trees were changing colour as we went into Autumn, and the second time was the wedding in the first mentioned in the video. Those are memories I will never forget.
Hi Mark, Where is Nicole? I thought she was on the journey with you but now you have got your sister? The video is Stunning, but everytime I see you eating all that lovely food, it make one so hungry 😋
HI Mark thank you for network and will explore dullstroom as I am familiar with part of knysna since I stayed in Cape Town for the past 19years but will visit there too. However will start with dullstroom since I am based in Johannesburg.
And we're off to Dullstroom, this weekend, booked in at The Old Transvaal Inn, watching the final at Poachers. All because of this video Mark.
The pacing of this edit is VERY well done, and the shots, tasty as ever. Honestly did not feel like 17 minutes watching this. Outstanding job!
Brother, you played such a vital role in the filming of this video. Thank you for all your hard work. Here's to many more viral videos in 2023!

This looks incredible! Wine, good food, creepy mist in the forest…what more could one ask for! Cannot wait to go back! Dullstroom for the win! 🎉❤
I think a Tryst team trip to Dullstroom is in order in 2023!
