The Marlovian Theory of Shakespeare Authorship (Wikipedia) says that Christopher Marlowe faked his death in 1593 and wrote all of Shakespeare in exile somewhere in Europe. Italy maybe? No. I believe Marlowe was in exile in Malta from 1593 to 1611 using the alias William Watts, the first trade consul from England residing in Malta. Marlowe and Caravaggio were exiles on Malta at the same time.
