You are right about the super soft being half Shetland and half merino but they just say wool on the label but in the details it will say..

    Maria,
Where are you? I hope all is well. I love the relaxed no nonsense but informative style of videos. Hopefully we'll see one soon.

Thank you so much for asking and sorry for the long absence! Had a summer full of continuous eye erosions unfortunately. But have just uploaded a super long podcast to make up for it hopefully :-)

Hi, I have the same yak/silk yarn from Tribe. It is gorgeous! Looking at Ravelry, if you can, there is someone who has made The Age of Brass & Steam with one skein (coraind3r knits). It is a free pattern. Thank you for taking the time to give so much useful information.

Ooh that's interesting because I do have that shawl in my favourites. I will definitely have a look as I think the drape of the yak/silk would look amazing in a shawl! Thank you so much for watching and your comment :-)

Hi Maria, its mad, everytime its like you & I are on the same wavelength yarn wise I have been checking out the Yak for a while & have been researching the Manchelopi too! Ive had holst from Tribe tas well, Ive had Manchelopi in the basket for a while now I think you have twisted my arm. Your waistcoat is gorgeous btw it looks so lightweight yet warm. Is the yarn you were talking about called Thrive? If so I would love to have a go of that too. Happy knitting xx

That's amazing to be on the same wavelength! I think the Manchelopis is definitely worth experiencing even if you have already experienced Plotulopi and Nutiden. It just brings something new to the table and I really hope you enjoy if you decide to purchase. Yak truly is amazing. Just the natural colour on its own is eye catchingly beautiful and I'm excited to knit with it. I think it was the sold out Thrive from Woolentwine that I had wanted to try out and I was also viewing the unspun yarn from Raincloud & Sage but this is the company that had the clause of only ordering above £135.00 from UK based orders (that would mean a hefty customs charge) so I chose not to purchase it. But I do hope to experience other unspun yarn when the opportunities arise. Thank you so much for watching!
