I followed your recipe exactly, for my (Peruvian) wife's 50th birthday party. We will see tomorrow how it rates, but so far so good. Looks amazing as I put it in the refrigerator. My first time making this...hoping for rave reviews...great video

Dear Andy, an ex colleague gave me this recipe - as usual, I often use my touch to most recipes and grated some orange zest at the bottom of the pan and poured orange juice/water to caramelize the sugar then pour on top of the zest, tnen the milk mixture, etc. as per your instructions.Everyone in the office emailed me to bring my flan during office Thanksgiving Luncheon❤️ Houston Texas

Thank you! I know, this is the traditional way of serving it in Perú, in a bundt pan. It’s quite a different way of serving creme caramel. Who would’ve thought you could slice it 🙌🏽😃

But instead of milk, we use coconut milk & coconut cream; we change sugar with brown sugar; and instead of vanilla we use pandan leaves. Poured into small ramekins, then steamed or baked using water-bath method. Gonna try your recipe this weekend.
