So far for me the MOST method that reduces lag is to reduce the preview quality of the project ( to do it, u have to click on the right middle square kinda thingy basically that helps you to scale the preview like 50% to 100% then click on the very top option that will reduce 70% of lag this method is very useful cuz it doesn't reduce ur edits quality but only the preview, and by using the method of this video and combining it, it reduces more than 80% of lag in am ^^

Conclusion... Steps to follow while making an AMV
Step 1- Use capcut or VN to syncing. mark beats and export clip 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th... and so on separately.
Step 2- Import audio in AM, and first add 1st clip then 2nd then 3rd and so on...
Step 3- After add clips add do masking or CC or text and then export.
Step 4- In the same project import the previous exported project and then make transitions. And export the video.
Step 5- And then import the exported video and then add blur.
And there is the Amv ready!!!!!!!
Even with this I might be a little too braindead
I don't follow any of this steps and of course I have lag but if you start using alight motion for long you will learn to adjust with it 😀

Here's another tip when previewing use the pixel preview thing it basically just makes the objects pixelated you can remove it when exporting

for 3d text it's normal if it lags because 3d rendering is heavy, it depends on your device
