Albert

    Hi. Just a quick comment to say how much I am inspired by your teachings. I have been totally abstracted by the recent political disasters and the Pandemic and now the Ukrainian assaults by Putin. Anyway, it's artists like you who share so much history about artists of the past and techniques of the present who keep me feel there may be a few more creations in my future. Thank you.

      Thanks Marion, I understand your concerns about the big issues. I have them too, as any normal person, I guess. I turn to my art materials to keep my sanity and make videos to show 'you always have more options in life'. It helps me, and hopefully others too. Have a great day, Albert

    Hi Albert, i just found you Channel. Thank you so much for the nice and helpfull videos, and the great thoughtfull approach of the philosophy and thinking about the technique and creative process about your abstract paintings. Painting is so important for me, but i get frustrated many times, because i think i cant do it, and i have soooo many great ideas in my head, but i cant bring them to paper. And your lessons and the thought procces behind it, really helps me a lot the bring a new approach to painting, and have a valve to my expressions. Thanks a lot. And i wish you a great journey here on youtube as you channel grows.

      Hello LifewithThomas, thanks for your friendly comment. Nice to hear that my videos help you on your painting journey. As with all things in life when you think you can not, you are right. Think you can and you are right as well. Breaking things down to smaller steps or pieces helps the participants of my painting course to improve. It worked for me to that way. And as I always say: Keep Painting! Have a nice day, Albert

      @@ImperfectPaintings Hi Albert! Yes, but rather in an illustrating way, I think.I love the way you make your lessons, you make it look easy, though it takes a lot of work for all these, and open the horizon of your viewers.

      Hi Rosalia, thank you for answering. Any way of painting is okay. I love mine, you love yours, everybody happy. I got a lot of the same questions in my painting course and found this way of answering them. And help others too. Keep painting, bye, Albert

    Dear Albert
    Wonderful work. I wondered whether you might do a video using Richard Mayhew’s work? I only discovered him recently.
    Many thanks for all your inspirational videos.
    Best wishes

      Hi Helen, thanks. Richard Mayhew looks interesting, thanks for bringing him to my attention. I'll put him on my list to look into, it's growing steadily ... so it can take a while. Happy painting, Albert

    Albert Is the little squeeze bottle of white, just white paint and water?

    • @ImperfectPaintings
      @ImperfectPaintings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Connie, no it's acrylic medium (diluted with water), it can be used to create thinner paint (-layers), like watercolor but it keeps the colors bright and strong what not will happen when you mix acrylics with water. Also I can't use water on my paper, the surface will be ruined, but acrylic medium gives me the option to do. Hope this explains it. Albert
