I too am paranoid when it comes to my locs and smell. If I go to a BBQ or a summer outdoor concert I use the Taliah Waajid moisture clenz it really refresh my locs. To combat dryness I mix water with a tiny bit of Biosilk and a little essential oil.

I walk to work everyday. I live in Charlotte so it is HOT!!!! I mist my locs everyday. It keeps me cool and my hair from getting too dry.

Keisha Charmaine OK. I asked coz I have a problem with dryness and I notice like white particles ( if that's the right way for me to discribe it ) on the bottom of my hair like my follicles are coming out. I'm only 4months into my loc journey. please can u tell me what this is and any solutions/recommendations?
Ma Li you might be referring to the bulbs from your shed hair. That is normal. If you really are referring to dandruff then try Sulfur 8.

Hair deodorizer vid please. Lately I've been using shea moistures jojoba oil & ucuuba butter odor neutralizing mist. Although I'm afraid the shea and ucuuba (whatever that is) butters will get stuck in my locs

Soft water is best, perhaps the water they are using is hard water.

I absolutely love your videos and your hair But I was wondering if maybe you can do a video on what causes flat locs I wear a bonnet on my hair every night but I've noticed around my edges some of my Locs are flat I do not know if it's because I have a loose hair texture or maybe it's because of my bonnet

I love sitting by Camp fire but at the same time i hate it the longer my hair is getting the more smells stick to my locs i find myself washing my hair more often then most because my locs just grabs to smells lol hahaha thank you for this video im sooo getting me one of those infinity hair wraps 💚💚💚

I enjoyed your video. But in not sure how homelessness relate to odors in your hair. I'm not homeless but I was offended. I work in the jails and would be in a room filled with homeless people and never had any odors in my hair. I'm just saying you should be careful with your words. Especially since your building your brand.
Valerie Metellus I'm sorry. I hope what I meant was understood though worded very poorly.
Valerie Metellus to be clear, people often live in the subways in NYC and they don't have access to clean clothes or showers. It tends to feel almost 2x as hot in the subways than outside. With the heat, the stench is strong and it lingers with minimal ventilation. So the smell sticking to my hair is a concern since subway is my main means of transportation. That's a clarification in case anyone was confused.
