      @me-me. I bought a bottle of acv clarifying shampoo for my son on his starter locs. He had a lot of itching and it's calmed down considerably. I did three good washes with his usual shampoo then I uses the acv cleanser, then massaged it in for a good 5 to 8 mins or so. I hope this helps. Good luck with yours.🇬🇧

    Curious about how long this lasts since you mentioned you don't necessarily put your hair up when you shower. Also do you feel your length/weight helps you to be able to retwist without product or is it successful because you've trained your crown this way?

    • @KeishaCharmaine
      @KeishaCharmaine  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      luvlocs06 it lasts 2weeks but I’m sure it would last longer but I always wash after 2weeks. No I don’t think my hair length is the reason I can do this method solely since I was doing this back when my hair was half as long. I have a video doing this when my hair was blonde back in 2013

  • @paulettaspassions
    @paulettaspassions 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love the way your roots stay perfectly in place. Would this technique work for someone who’s locs grow away from the loc as well? Your locs are beautiful and I love how you can retwist without using product. My hair is more course and thick so I need to use product in order for my hair to stay. What is the longest that you have gone without a fresh retwist? If it has been awhile since your retwist do you use product then?

    • @KeishaCharmaine
      @KeishaCharmaine  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pauletta’s Passions I’ve done this method on someone’s hair who had thicker coarser hair and it worked the same. I recommend giving it a shot without product at least once. The longest I’ve gone without retwisting was 3months on an experiment but I’d never do it again unless I’m trying to grow my locs out to cut them off. You can do this method no matter how long it’s been since your last retwist.
