Beautiful Brother!! I have been following container homes for almost 14 years. Worked in the shopping Industry for 20 yrs and a container is considered "The strongest Box in the World". Only drawback is its weak roof panel system but that can be modified accordingly to needs and location. Great Job man!! 😊👍💯

The dents outside of the container home is fine. It gives it character.....perfectly imperfect. You don't need much furniture.....I love that minimalism look. If the bump on the floor bothers you, you can always cover that with a furniture (perfectly imperfect. right?). Congratulations!!!!!! I love it! Hello kitty cat!

While I appreciate your building skills (the home is perfect), I will say your belief in FE is entirely misguided.
When I lived in Alaska, during the summer the sun rose and traveled in a low arc close to the horizon and set close to the place where it rose. I could call anyone living close to the equator and they could tell me the sun, where they live, rose in the east, traveled high in the sky, and set in the west. There’s no flat earth model that can explain that phenomenon of the variation in where the sun travels in the sky between high latitudes and equatorial regions.
But a globe earth set at an angle in which the rotation allows a person at high latitude to spend most of their day in sunlight, and the angle relative to the sun means the sun stays close to the horizon throughout the day does explain why the days are extremely long and why the sun is not high in the sky when someone lives in the far north (or the far south, but the seasons are opposite because the angle is set to the opposite direction during our summer; hence why it’s winter in the southern hemisphere when it’s summer in the north). As usual, a spherical earth with a tilted axis explains all these phenomenon while there’s no flat earth model that can ever explain why these phenomenon occur. That’s just one of many proofs that shows the earth is a sphere. I suggest you obtain a globe and shine a bright light on it from the side to check it yourself: you will find that someone living in Alaska or anywhere in the far north, will experience the sun being low to the horizon all year round with a long day when the axis’ tilt is towards the sun and very short days when it’s tilted away. FE adherents have proposed various wonky attempts to explain these phenomenon with no success. They just cannot explain why the sun’s position in the sky is different in extreme latitudes of the north and south and why the seasons are opposite. They cannot explain why the days vary in length and Anchorage has 19.5 hour long days during mid summer Solstice and only 4.5 hour long days during mid winter Solstice. And they cannot explain a myriad of other things as well: like how traveling to Australia doesn’t take 3x the time and fuel than it actually does or where the giant ice wall surrounding the entire disc is. Circumnavigating Antarctica should take considerably longer if it’s an ice wall surrounding the entire “disc” than it actually does. I would suggest you challenge your beliefs and look up more information. Don’t just confirm your bias.
You did a beautiful job on the house though. That’s exactly the kind of place I wish I could own myself. It looks great! 👍🏻

This is incredible and a bachelor's dream home.
As a possible option for the dents on the outside of the container since it takes multiple containers to build a home of this caliber, if your budget allows buy one brand new container and the rest used and when they're placed on the foundation place the brand new container facing the road for the curb appeal. This could possibly be cheaper then installing siding depending on type of siding chosen.

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your container home! I was MOST inpressed when I learned that this was your FIRST container home! I saw your piece on the HOT water lines. You mentioned that you only needed the shark bite 1/2 and 3/4 fittings for FOUR hot water lines. I wish I'd seen your videos when you first posted it. Being a woman, I would have suggested possibly putting in a FIFTH hot water fitting. Being a woman I would want to put in a hot/cold water TOILET/ BIDET combination commode using that FIFTH hot water line!! Also, since I didn't see a closet in your master bedroom, I was wondering if you were going to put in an armoire? You could put in a "stackable" washer set, freeing up the other half of the space to put in a closet. You'll get more space in the closet, too, with a low-cost closet organizer. I had to giggle when you asked if anyone could see any imperfections in the finished master bedroom. I spotted the VERY SMALL inperfection only because I have OCD's, one of which is spotting crooked pictures on walls, crookedly hung cabinet doors, ect, ect, lol, and I could probably say that almost NO ONE would spot that very slight blemish unless you told them!
You must be SO proud of your WONDERFUL home. You did a FANTASTIC job! I can't wait to see another of your creations, which I really hope there will be more to see.

Love your home, love your talent, love your vision, love your kitty. Keep her warm, make her a warm sunny spot (cat tree corner?) in that echo metal industrial abode. Her eye is very contagious and needs meds asap, (back in the day info on boric acid eye drops, not sure if still valid or appropriate), but the eye is a warning. Then please get kitty a kitty friend so she isn't.lonely (or chilled). First thought on that tiny back room was a mud room if you put a door in. You could still keep as an office but goats chickens etc? You need a mud room. You are very talented. I would make a green bean or sweet pea arbor at the outside dents, but really it looks like a perfect home.

Amazing job. Congratulations! Agree with finishing dry wall 100%, even the small patches and cracks can be painful with all the sanding. It takes a lot of practice to master. Good luck with gardening and homesteading.

Nice job. Are you going to put a skirt around it? Would make for good storage. Maybe dig a small root cellar in between cement feet for harvests.

@@tlit3284 that's a really interesting question. Obviously I'm not licensed, I'm just a DIYer that built my own house. It's actually something I would consider, assuming it's allowable by law wherever it's built, and maybe if I learn more details about the kind of container home you want.....
