Again, love the breakdown on costs!
Thanks for your honesty. A lot of people lack this. You did a good job. I am interested in owning a container home.
I'd love a container home yet found sites selling them for 10 k then finding a peice of land to rent it of and planning permission
I'm so so proud of you my brother..you don't know how much your work has been a great inspiration for us..been following from day one and yes if you did it..I can still do it..thanks ❤️
👍
Keep it up brother u doing a great job!! 🥃🍺🥃🍺🥃🍺🍺🥃🍺🍺🥃🍺🥃
@@rickyrivera3504 thanks
Nice work, and I bet you learned so many new skills!
The best part is that you can easily upgrade it! Whenever you saved up enough money you can put another floor on top of it or attach one or two more containers by its side!
Good for you! You also don't have to pay those crooked bankers.saving at least $1,500 per month in house payments. Awesome job, awesome video!
It really is incredible to see what you've accomplished here, and in such little time! It all looks fantastic xxX ❤️ Xxx
thanks :)
@@thinkoutsidethecontainer it also sounds like you've made a very good investment!
@@thinkoutsidethecontainer as a remodeler, I have found that Home Depot has much higher prices for ALL materials that you displayed than Menards. and the quality is the same or better!!!! but good job on the build!!!
@@lionelhowell4972 I got the back staircase rails from Menards. I did like a lot of the prices I saw on Menards but the problem is they are located so far from me that shipping costs often made it not cost effective. I'm sure there are wholesale sources for materials that professional builders use that even beat Home Depot bit sometimes they require business licenses etc
@@thinkoutsidethecontainer that was my other assumption that maybe there was one, but just too far away adding in fuel cost. here in MN, they have 2 stores that are called Habitat for Humanity Re-use centers that sell everything for homes. new and used materials donated by remodelers, and construction companies from lumber to appliances at unbelievable prices that cannot be beaten anywhere. I know it is irrelevant to your build, but just a thought.. if others are reading your posts they should always look for alternative inventory in other places also like you did to keep costs down even more..
"bizarre silly circus" 😂 Thank you so much for this video & the transparency!
I think you did very good job I’d really like to try this right now I’m looking for land and the price for everything I think was well worth it
Cool 👍
Very precise, easy to understand,so transparent and honest video, thank you, greetings from thousands of kms away
credit where credit's due
It was for sure a wild ride. Keep the vids coming. The best is yet to come!
Thanks
That’s a great investment as home prices climbing to record highs most people will end up homeless!!! This is a very good informative video for the younger generation to think about investing in land!!!
They have gone up a lot, haven't they
Great video...great editing...no bullshit...straight to the point...very informative...good job bro !
🙂👍
I'm a new fan, I don't know you, but I'm proud of all your hard work and accomplishments.
I'm remember your old channels . Much love ❤
🙂
Nice presentation. Really liked the honest detail of cost broken down for everything and your marketing strategy for your services. Best of luck to you with all your animals and your Hampstead💕🌸
below $100k! This is done excellent!!👍👍
Like that you’ve realistically planned out to just one-story building. And make it worth the build. Awesome job sir!
two story container boxes just snowballs cost. 🤮 seen plenty of guys that go way over budget because of that.
Great work and best planning great.
Absolutely fantastic, I wish I could do something like that in the UK, but it's so expensive to buy land alone, looking forward to more vids, 👍
👍
This is is the best container video I’ve view thus far.. Thx
Great video!! well done man, this gives me a lot of insight for my family and I. I'm wanting to do the same thing, find a nice piece of land and make our mark on it.
Baldur!
A remarkable resemblance indeed.
The home is excellent and a good investment.
Well done, sir.
Ciao...
🙂👍
GREAT JOB! Beautiful home - so happy for you!
I most definitely subscribed…finally someone who kept it real and very transparent..really appreciate you for that…thank you so much..great home great build
This is the first video of yours I’ve watched, so I apologize of you’ve already discussed this…but how difficult was it to get local permitting for this type of construction?
Not hard in my county because they already allowed shipping container homes here. I still had to get engineered plans and a PE stamp
Very good job building your home that would never burn to the ground, nor can lift up by a hurricane (if welded on the concrete plates).
Howdy, you did a great job man you place is really nice. It feels good knowing you did everything yourself and like you said if something goes wrong you know exactly where everything is.
True 🙂👍
@@thinkoutsidethecontainer I looked into getting a couple to put on my property for storage. How do they hold up with moisture? If you know, I know you tore them apart to build for your house.
@@ARTWV I spray foamed mine so I'm not concerned about condensation on the container steel, if that's what you're referring to
@@thinkoutsidethecontainer You won’t have any problems. Your house will be standing in 100 years without those problems. I’m wondering about a container without anything done to it if I would have moisture problems if I use it for storage.
Blessings king thanks for sharing this you are so down to earth 👌💖🙏🏿🤴
I live in commifornia. None of this is possible where I live. Zoning laws, building permits, inspections, utilities, property tax. Everybody wants a piece.
That’s capitalism, not communism my friend.
Okay this is like super reasonable!!! I’m obsessed!!!! But, I still can’t believe how much the wood alone was!!
Great Job ■ wonderful home design; built to last
So happy for you
EXCELLENT
All of your foresight, planning, labor, dreaming has grown fruits you will enjoy endlessly
Very inspiring!
Thank you
Awesome dude, Americans are gonna have to learn to become more self reliant again if things keep going the way they are.
Thanks for sharing this video on building container home.I have been planning to build one for my future home.
Thanks for the update!! You did an awesome job
I appreciate it.
I love this man... 😀 i want to take 2 shipping containers and a medium size silo and build a house.
Damn fine job.
Ya' done good. You should be rightfully proud of your accomplishment.
Very nice of you to document the journey for all of us and for $$ breakdown.
Thanks
Information to get to you
A lot of great information, my wife and I are moving towards 5 40ft. container home thanks for the detailed cost
Cool
A functional home for the price of a new F150.. I'm all in! 200-400 per sq ft. in Cali is normal..
Congratulations man, that’s what I am going to attempt to do hopefully soon, thank you for sharing this!!
To save room for walls. Get steel studs and turn them sideways.
I remember you, I loved your previous channel. Container homes are cool!
🙂👍
