This is why, it was all the States' mistake to agree to the GST format of taxation. Because GST gave more percentage of tax income both to the State and the Union, State governments accepted GST only to be conned by the Union government. Now, states don't have any right to decide on many taxes that are collected from the State. And on top of it, the Union government treats the states like beggars, we have to wait for our own tax income to be released by the Union government after we send an official claim for it. In the US, every state has its own economic policy. In India, the Union government created an illusion that state will get more tax revenue after GST implementation because the percentage is more but in reality states have lost lot of their rights in managing their own finance allocations in the state owned concerns. Why is our state government not challenging the union government on this regards in the court? Our state developed by in the long run by taking loans to contribute to our infrastructure development, education and economic equalization policies. It is not the North Indian States that need more Union fund allocation for their development but we thr Southern States need more to pay off the loans that we have taken for our own development. Union government policies are cheating the South State governments and the people of the South. Our state income should serve us more than others.

Kudos to him for explaining so clearly 👏👏👏.Hope a new government is formed at the center and fix all the shortcomings with regard to GST, Electricity , Governors dominance and many more for the smooth functioning of our democracy. People are fed up with favoritism to big business folks and depriving basic rights of opposition ruled state governments. Hope these messages are spread across all over India even for layman to understand. Spreading false news by one party to garner support during election and making illiterates gullible should be rooted out. Let’s hope for a better India in 2024.
