2019 Fiat 500X Trekking Review - All Things Fadra

- I really wasn't too excited about spending a week in the 2019 Fiat 500X and creating a video review. If you recall, I had already attended the introduction in NYC a few months ago. But spending a week is very different than spending the day. This is why it's important to read reviews and don't just rely on a test drive before your next purchase!
Check out everything I love about the 2019 Fiat 500X Trekking (spoiler: most of it is under the hood). And if you're looking for more info, check our my full review here: allthingsfadra.com/2019-fiat-...

Finally a review of this car. I LOVED IT.
I honestly expected to not have too much to say about this car but that turbo is what makes it!
Finally a review on this Fiat worth staying till the very end for. Really appreciate your style and honesty. Details, details, details, thanks! helped make my decision. And it’s a good one ;)
I have the 2017 model, and it's so much fun to drive. Plus,it's a very good looking SUV!!!
I appreciate your thoughtful, approachable review style and attention to detail.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the review! Just bought a new left-over 2019 this week! LOVE IT so far!
How is it doing so far? Any issues?
@@jessicabey275 not a single issue! Absolutely love it!
@@brentfitz1990 thank you!
Anyone buying a mini over this is an idiot. Minis are much costlier to repair, more uncomfortable and twice as expensive to purchase. If you want a charming sporty euro car this is it
Great review Fadra, I once drove one to Scotland,I like your Italian.
I can say phrases in most languages!! The 2019 is definitely an improvement with the turbo engine.
We just got a 2020 Trekking model it has a spare tire for that trim level...it is a great car to drive, feels wide and has a great stance very peppy engine we had a Nissan Rogue and did not love that CVT transmission. Nice review....
¡Excellent Review!🥰
First time..And it's the best review.. surprised of low views and subs..
Thanks for watching! All I can do is keep making videos and hope the subscribers come 🙏🏻
Wonderful review .... honest and fair which is a bit of a rarity when it comes to FIAT road tests. Many if not most testers seem to have a chip on their shoulder and have judged the car before they ever set foot in it. As far as FIAT reliability goes I didn't and don't put much stock in what the motoring press and Consumer Reports in particular, says. Instead I talked to as many actual owners, in person and online as I could. I still do that. In Jan. 2014 I bought a 2013 500 Sport and put 80,000 miles on it until I traded it in April 2019. Had a few issues in the beginning but all were taken care of under warranty. It proved no less reliable than the 2013 Honda CR-V parked next to it in the garage and unlike the Honda my A/C still worked and the trim didn't fall off the door.
Liked my first FIAT well enough that I got another- a 500 Abarth is my current daily driver and am trying to get my better half to replace the Honda CR-V with a 500X.
Keep up the good work ... anyone that enjoys throwing an Abarth around an autocross course is ok in my book ;)
I actually took it on the track! Don’t know if you saw this: th-cam.com/video/vZuj6FLBdJ4/w-d-xo.html
When I did my first road review of the 500X up in NYC, I admittedly drove one of the vehicles on site and it clearly was having some engine issues. I had one of the engineers drive it on the return trip and he confirmed it. But I didn’t let that stop me from giving it a full review and this time, after spending a week in it, I fell in love. Such a fun drive!
Great car
We love our Fiat 500x trekking plus model. I get asked all the time if it's a mini. We ended up getting all the fixings on ours. Our dealer in Las Vegas gave us $6,000 off. We just love it. Great review by the way. Keep up the wonderful work.
Do you mind me asking which dealership? I’m also a Vegas resident and am planning to purchase in a couple months!
@paul best we never had issues with ours. I even own a 2012 500C. haven't needed to repair anything yet. your comment isn't warranted.
@@michelleherrera7643 There is only one in Vegas. Its off of Sahara, on Jones Blvd. They have the same chassis as the Jeep Renegade. Really durable in snow & ice. Standard AWD.
Great review, great car, I wish it sold more in the USA like her sibling the Jeep Renegade, which is build on the same platform in the same factory in Italy. They are twins in a way, the 500X and the Renegade. On the issue of reliability , I think that Fiat are quite reliable, and Fiat is still paying for the reliability issues of the 70s and 80s. Great lady also.
Thanks for the compliment! I don’t think Fiat has strong brand recognition here. I am actually reviewing the Jeep Renegade in a few weeks. I can’t wait!
You turn off the lane assist via a push in button on the left stalk on the steering wheel
Minute 16 😂 I love this car, I hope it would sell more in the USA, the driving is incredible. The cons for me is the screen. I have the panoramic and with extra wheel. In Italy the safety is rated 5 stars
It's definitely an underrated car. So much fun to drive!
FIAT 500X + ITALY=♥️
Pro trick: you can watch movies on flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Drew Xzavier yea, I've been watching on Flixzone} for years myself :D

I love this car!!
Such a fun car with that turbo engine!
Best Crossover *Fiat* superb reliable
Good to hear you think it’s reliable. That’s the only consistently negative I ever hear about Fiat.
@@Allthingsfadra mine all 3 Fiat Cars are superb reliable 2007 Punto 2014 Linea T Jet 2017 Fiat 500 X of my Uncle who lives in Florida USA never break down

@@Allthingsfadra but my Dad's vw polo gti break down 2 times in 3 years
I've noticed everyone who has one says they are super reliable!! Which is good considering fiats reputation
Yes, exactly. It’s hard when you’re reviewing for a week but everything is usually great for a week! Fiat doesn’t have the best reputation for reliability but this is a pretty solid car and soooo fun to drive.
Great review. I bought one in Valencia orange, I love it!!!! It is so fun! And reliable, and economical, and good in snow, and how about that remote start?? So handy!
What a fun color! Did you buy the latest model? That turbo engine makes allllll the difference.
@@Allthingsfadra Yes it is the latest 1.3 liter turbo engine, it is properly quick and fun.
Wrong German autobild did a long 20.000 Miles test took the complete engine a part and has litterly no defect or even no worn out parts. Makes it one if the top quality cara in its class
And its awesome to see a short woman doing car reviews because I am short as well 🤣
Happy to be your short woman car correspondent!
This is the jeep renegade sister car which i have

bellissima ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗
glovebox, you have two, one on top one bellow lol.
My husband is really trying to talk me out of wanting this car but it's not working lol. He says the awd isn't good because I have a jeep and you can take thing anywhere but it's a gas hog
I drove it twice. The first time I didn't love it. The second time I did. AWD is AWD and it will work when you need it. But if you're looking to go offroading, this isn't the car I would recommend. Then you really need a 4WD. But for general AWD purposes, this is a fun car!
@@Allthingsfadra I like to have it just in case I do need it, I don't got off roading so thats not an issue . I live in Central part of Ohio so we get a little snow and ice but this last winter we got a ton but it doesn't stay around for no more then a couple of weeks.
That's what I figured awd is awd but I think my husband doesn't like it because it's a cute car lol
I’ll subscribe we need more women reviewers
God bless you 🌈🌈🌈👪
Same to you!
Sei bellissima😀Non parlavo della fiat🤣
