The #Fiat500X was supposed to be the SUV savior for the #Fiat brand in America. Unfortunately, the #500X was never really the sales champ that Fiat had hoped for and is even outsold by the cheeky #Fiat500 hatchback family. For 2020, Fiat is making some small changes, a new 1.5L turbo engine, revised infotainment system, and a tweaked look on the inside and outside.

Wow so many haters. I wonder if any of have even sat in, let alone, driven in one. Let me start by saying it out performs any American car in it’s class, and probably most Europen counterparts as well. It’s a solid feeling car with great performance and is very comfortable for it’s size on long trips.

Idk why fiat gets gets shit on so bad? Most people in the comments probably haven’t even sat in one. They’re so luxurious inside compared to Honda’s, fords, kia’s... they’re no bmw but they’re fantastic in their own way.

I've had no problem with my 500x and this is the second I've had. I completely recommend this car it's gorgeous in and out and is best car in its class The only people who complain about this car are people who never drove one.

I have a 2016 fully-loaded model that I bought new for a great price early that year and I LOVE it. Have had it maintained on schedule always at the dealer. Didn't need a new battery until this year (5 years). Switched out tires for 1st time end of 2019. Maybe people need to stop taking these to random car shops who aren't familiar with the car. I see tons of these in Europe. Think here in America people just love to promote stereotypes. This car doesn't deserve all the hate.

I have a 2017 model in that color. I think it has a 2.4 liter engine. I have been through one tire and oil changes in those three years. I can easily smoke any Honda or Toyota when in sport mode. Also if I drove like a grandma on the highway I could get 30 mpg. I have no idea what people are talking about. It’s literally the most reliable car I’ve ever owned by far. Look at the leather on the door that’s more leather than on my armchair in my house.

It’s really sad to read that the 500X is unreliable. In Europe is not having severe problems, but here is sold with different engines and different transmissions

I'm almost convinced that the issues we're having here in the USA has to do with not knowing how to maintain and fix them properly. They sell a ton of them in Europe and they don't seem to have the problems we're having.

I am totally swimming against the current here, but I have been looking at these for a few weeks and I spoke with a lady last week who bought her fiat in 2013 and has never had a problem with hers (only one factory recall) that was taken care of buy her dealership. She told me she got hers after her sister got one the year before in 2012 and her sister loved hers and never had a problem with it. I cannot find a lot of avaliable inventory right now, I think my city has 5 new ones avaliable. It's probably the old chicken and the egg problem. They don't sell a lot because there aren't many avaliable, but there aren't many avaliable because they don't sell a lot!

Dude I love your reviews and you have great knowledge of the industry, beating most to the punch with new car reviews. Though I must say your should smile occasionally, you actually look like your sad these days or maybe just complacent. Keep up the great work but please let it show that you live what you do for a living, have some fun!
