Sorry I have not given any resent updates I still have this project and still want to finish it. I have not touched it for quite a while, life has been so bussy. The original plan was to make one and give it to my brother and if it worked well I would make more and sell them but since nothing has progressed it is just a fun project with a unknown finish date. sorry for the not so helpful update.
Hi, my wife and I have a caramel business, and we have been hand wrapping so many caramels our wrists hurt. We have been looking for a machine to wrap our caramels, but commercial machine wrappers are way out of our budget. Would this machine be able to handle wrapping a few thousand caramels a week? Would this machine be able to be replicated? Would you be up for talking about us purchasing a machine from you? Let me know! Thanks.
Hi Scott, we also have a small scale craft caramel business and looking for a way to automate our wrapping process that won't break the bank like you said. Have you found any solutions yet? Would be more than happy to discuss our process with you and see if there's anything we can share/ learn from each other!

No I ran into a little bit of a problem getting it to work right and life has got in the way so I have not had a chance to work on but thanks for the reminder I will try to fit it into my schedule again

This is an incredible piece of engineering. I wonder if it would lend itself to making a smaller tabletop version that could be 3d printed.
