These two are such artists. You give them a predictable assignment and they turn it on it's head until they find a theme that they can get behind. I love how they kind of forgot that cranberries and Thanksgiving were the assignment and turned it into a Bobby Flay Turkey Fajita Fest.
Sohla’s giggle is one of my favourite things about her content. Love this series so much, Ham and Sohla are such a joy to watch.

I love watching the two of them work together. They both know soooo much about the science of cooking, both have a large array of techniques, both have amazing palates- they are like genius mad-scientist chefs. And holy shit are they fast. The challenge is come up with two dishes, they usually do four to six.

Nice of them to switch things up with Sohla doing the main and Ham doing the dessert. They each have their skills in both areas.

OMG I really thought that Bobby Flay was coming into the kitchen to test the meal! Absolutely loved the challenge of canned cranberry sauce into every bite of this thanksgiving meal! Sohla and Ham - you did what needed to be done! Now come through Bobby😉

I’ve made a straight up cheesecake (with a gluten-free gingersnap crust) and topped it with with homemade cranberry sauce reduced to a jammy consistency. Good stuff.
Incorporating the cranberry sauce into the cheesecake is intriguing too.

There are several ideas in here that I would love to replicate for a Saturday dinner with friends: from the chorizo and cheese skillet to the cranberry jelly cheesecake. The gravy would definitely be unnecessary, since we would have the queso and guacamole to top the turkey fajitas. I might include my famous salsa roja, one of my pickled red onion jars, and maybe even my habanero hot sauce to spice up the tacos and round up the flavors.

How bizarre you don't know who he is... In the days before TH-cam (gasp!) there was only Food Network and PBS to get foodie related content. And Bobby was the king of Food Network with like six different food shows. He also has a few restaurants in NY.

that cranberry cheesecake reminded me of this 70's monstrosity my cousins family used to make for thanksgiving, which used cranberry sauce mixed with cream cheese and cottage cheese into a "salad" (as in the midwestern definition). I mean the texture was as wild as you can imagine, but weirdly pleasant to remember lol
i wish y'all would mix in some of the original style of ingredients like you gave to sohla in the early eps - like popcorn or avocados or zucchini or something a bit more basic that she can use to make something special rather than joke-type food - i think it's a bit more enjoyable for them and us! love this show tho hope it continues!
