Always put the tire valve on the inside so you have something to complain about - LOL i always complaint when i had to add air - Simple tip mentioned here Put the valve on the Outside - Much Easier
How important are the dust covers, my mower i recently got used didn’t have any anymore, it has a lot of grease but I’m worried that I need replacements, assuming I do, where would I find some?
Yep the spindles can rust and freeze. Try unhooking the drag links to the steering spindles and see if the steering wheel will turn. If it does then is the spindles. Good luck

How do you kniow the right and left. Is it looking from the seat or from the front of the mower?
My guess is from the seat forward.

My steering is completely locked up. Replaced steering gear and teeth, same issue, now what? Would spindles cause that?
