Myles grew up just down the Waverly Road from where I live now. Saw them one of the last times they played. Big concert on the waterfront 2 Labour Day weekends ago. Man they still had it. THey should have been so much a bigger deal.

April Wine, our Great Canadian friends. Love Y'all! Always have. Then, awhile back, I adopted out a foster cocker whom I was unshure he would be and was very fine with that, Clifford the Big Red Dog went to Canada. Adopted at age 11, blind, etc.
April Wine and Rush were my 2 top Canadian bands ever. Listened to their music to no end back in my youth, and actually still play both a decent amount to this day. There are not many that can even come close to this perfection these days. These 2 bands made me fall in love with rock music. Myles will be soo missed forever

My band in Las Vegas got to open for these guys! They were the greatest guys, had beers and conversation at sound check & after the gig. I'll never forget that night. The best people ever!

it still gets me going after all these years. i am so impressed that a band can have so many lead guitars and they don't step on each other trying to show off. just about as professional as you can get. i hope to see you guys soon keep on rockin!
Dual and triple lead guitars are somewhat rare and usually done mostly by Southern rock and long jam bands like the Allman Brothers, the Outlaws and Thin Lizzy. Thin Lizzy actually had a 3 and sometimes even 4 leads at some of their concerts.. also 2 drummers are common..

@@buggy6550 you do know you can get a turntable/cdrecorder right? My exwife took all my albums in the divorce and then laughed at me when she put them on cd after getting that thing I mentioned. Then you can continue to keep it safe while listening to the album sound which is like no other.

April Wine was my first official concert in my life, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush opened for them, July 19th 1974. Electric Jewels is still my favorite album. My Nephews band opened for them Nov 19 2019, taking me full circle.
Saw April Wine at County Stadium (World Series of Rock with REO, Michael Stanley and Blackfoot) April Wine blew them all away. Following year saw them with Eddie Money at MECCA in Milwaukee, Great memories !!

Jerry Mercer just killing it. He was in his mid 40's, and a family man when this was recorded. Such an overlooked heavy duty drummer.
