    He saved my health. I found him a year ago. Start simple if it seems to difficult. I pushed each meal out each day. It wasn’t long before I was fasting easily. I have done 72 hours so far. I have found my body feels so much better during fasting. You start losing the craving for the foods that are not good for you. Super easy. Stay busy also.

      ​@@Mossa444 It's actually not necessary to get them every single day. Most modern humans are overfed. Not only are we built to eat intermittently safely, we benefit from it. The key is to eat mostly whole foods. Most should be vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts and seeds, and whole grains or starchy veggies like sweet potatoes. Those whole plant foods are where the vitamins, minerals and micronutrients such as phytochemicals are found.

      I think someone already answered your question very well.
      I would just add, fasting helps you eat the right foods. So I used to eat donuts and sugary carbs before- But with fasting, I no longer crave those. Instead, when hungry and during my eating hours, I make sure the carbs come from fruits and veggies and grains, meats as well. I am not a vegetarian. But the vitamins in these foods are way better than those synthetic vitamin supplements.

    Thank you, I got my health back by following keto and intermittent fasting. I am 50 years old now
    I weighed 94 kg and now I weigh only 72
    The knee pain is gone and my health is restored

    I gained so much as a new mom and on sleep deprivation.. my baby would just not sleep and i would just pig out and put on so much weight AFTER having my LO.. cant wait to get back in shape now! thankyou so much dr berg

    I love bone broth with a lot of acv. I haven't tried acv in just water, I'm not sure why I'm so hesitant. It just doesn't sound good.
    NOTE: Braggs acv has been bought out & my friends & I have seen a notable difference in the color. So now we use Kirkland Organic ACV.
    Just a suggestion.

    I’ve been doing intermittent fasting successfully since March of this year, 20/4 for the most part. It happened progressively and by cutting the processed food, junk food which happened over time. Junk food equates to crack food. It wasn’t easy at first but because I wanted better health I will myself and now, no more cravings and on cruise control. Better yet no more soda = liquid candy and no more fast food, pastry, etc. as am typing this at 7:46 am I have done 13 hours and 46 minutes of intermittent fasting and not hungry at all, hahaha.

      do accutane pills (isotretinoin) stop fasting?
      and my 2nd question if anyone knows is: since im supposed to be taking them 3 times a day after food, how do i go about it when im doing one meal a day? take all 3 pills at once? spread them throughout the day even if they arent taken after food?

    I know for a fact that the apple cider vinegar works. It works too good. You won't want to eat anything and have no cravings of anything especially sweet things.

    I began IF again in last week in December. Ive started drinking ACV 2-4x a day and it definitely HELPS!!! just make sure to rinse your mouth out after drinking.

    Hot path. Sometimes during the day I am thinking about a meal, not from hunger (I am past that) but from the ceremony of eating which I still miss. Then I go run a bath and soak, listen to a podcast. I think it hacks the same dopamine stores that engage when munching.
    Works every time.

    ACV + lemon juice + cinnamon was a game changer for me. You don't just feel less hungry after drinking it, you feel generally calmer and healthier. it's remarkable how quickly your palate adjusts to it, too. I just use a 250ml glass of water, 1 tbsp of ACV, juice of a quarter of a lemon, and a good sprinkle of cinnamon. I really enjoy it. Unfortunately, ACV isn't recommended for prolonged fasting because your system will already be very acidic over 48 hrs into fasting, I think? And someone told me it can contribute to leeching potassium in that situation. It's a shame, not sure I could do a very long fast without it.

    Dr. Berg, you are awesome in your way of explaining how our body works! I learned so much from you! I’m trying to follow your advices and feel so much better, I’m not sleepy during the day. Just watched your video about potassium due to my elevated heartbeat rate and I learned that our cells have a charge and they are like mini batteries. I would like to hear your opinion on sodium bentonite clay. I was trying to do my internal detox by drinking it every morning on empty stomach and after a week or so I started to feel extreme fatigue. First time I did not understand what was happening and I stopped it. But in a year or so I tried to do the cleanse again - so I got the same symptoms, and by combining this with the stress that I had at that time I ended up having deep depression. So, I’m wondering if that fatigue was caused by that clay that stripped my cells of electrical charge as I know clay works by pulling metals out of human body by the charge that it has, but it might have been too much pull for me. Just want to hear what you say about that, it seems to be interesting topic to learn. Thank you for all your hard work and educating us!

    Great tips! It would be easier for me to watch if the camera weren't so shaky though. I get motion sickness easily and am used to his other TH-cams that are filmed very steadily. I love his videos! So many great tips!

    It's very hard to sleep for atleast 3-4 days when you start doing intermitten fasting but after 3-4 days you will be fine you will sleep like a baby evey night once you keep doing it i've done it many times. Intermitten fasting is the best!

    I didn't know if I could do that ! For some reason I did the fasting since the first covid shut.
    Trying to get rid of a few side effects. I started ! And now I am keep doing it. Because I feel like helps me to cope better with my daily life. I just love it. !

    I'm on day for lost 6 lb already don't have a lot to lose just really wanted to get ahold of some areas of Health. Anyway I've been doing all of these and yes indeed that apple cider vinegar and the tea-drinking all of it works. The only thing is I've got to get in more sleep

    I do 18/6 and hardly ever feel hungry. I don’t do keto though as I just don’t like meat (except chicken) and not gonna lie, I don’t like keto friendly veggies 😂

    I have been doing intermittent fasting for the last 6 months. I also take ACV mother. It helped me a lot, I have lost a lot of weight, and no, not the muscle mass, my fat is melting away. Exercise as well. I am a Type 2 Diabetic; I am still taking medicine but without one my Sugar level is stable. Thank you to advisors like you, I can achieve it.

      @@CalmVibesVee I had leftover coffee, so I froze it in cubes. I put them in the blender, broke them up. This morning, it was just plain coffee slush, but a half teaspoon of butter and a quarter cup of goats milk and a tablespoon of dark cocoa powder and sweetner makes an excellent treat. I omit the fat and milk and use protein, to make a fast break, but that isn't often. Usually it's really just slushy, because I love to chew cold ice. It makes me slow down so I don't guzzle it.

    I’ll try the vinegar an water! I eat a half of lemon a day. Take probiotics (yours) Eat healthy foods, I walk as well an work as a hostess so I’m always busy an I don’t eat at work. Drinking water 💦 Will see how this goes with the vinegar an water. Thanks your swell.

    IF is so easy. Just fill in your time before you eat in the morning (if retired and not working). I walk my dog, read, play spades on the internet, watch You Tube, write letters, garden, do office work, clean house…….once your body gets used to eating at certain times it’s very easy. And even easier to do OMAD once you’ve eaten a little more than usual, you don’t feel hungry after that ONE daily meal. It’s surprising how much weight just drops off without starving yourself.

    Dr Berg, can apple cider be replace by Rice Vinegar? I found a Chinese/ Japanese Rice Vinegar palatable and dislike apple cider n avoiding it all my life ?? Tks.

    Amazing! You said it 😃 we can consume any kind of tea (on keto especially)? Because where I live they don’t put the macros on teas and so i just take green tea, but if we can take all the fruity teas too that would be good!

      Yes. I take it first thing in the morning. I squeeze half a lemon into a glass of water, one cap of apple cider vinegar, two punches of sea salt. I only use this small amount because I’ve already lost 21 pounds since March of this year and don’t want to lose more. So basically I take it for the other benefits, inflammation reduction, ph balance. Anyhow I don’t have the cravings for months. And I used to get up in the middle of the night and kill the dorito bag lol, that was before March of this year.
      Will power, discipline = is a task at first and then it becomes easy over time. :)

    I’ve been doing IF since 10/ 2021. It’s been great but this morning I heard on the radio news that IF can cause intestinal tumors (in rats) so now I’m scared. Have you heard this? If so, is there any truth to what they (scientific studies) say?
