Which, as you can see for yourself, means that most of his videos range from 500k to 4m views. And if his videos were suddenly so bad that they only got 500 views (which never happens as far as I've seen), then his sub count would drop DRASTICALLY, because if they were so bad and controversial, nobody would want his new videos popping up in their feed. Lol it's literally a running joke on his channel. I've been following him for the past 2 years and he called anything he saw Soviet. It's part of his humour and honestly it's part of the reason I stayed around and have become such a fan.
I love his channel, I have Cerebral Palsy and I'm unable to travel. Watching Mr. Bald travel feels like I'm there with him. Gives me that sense of freedom he has during his travels. He recently recovered from Covid-19 and started vlogging again. He is an awesome guy.

It’s a great point but I feel you are being slightly misled. There is the tourist areas, the normal areas and then there are the run down areas. It’s the run down areas that he visits as these are the most shocking and have the most humble people.

He is lying. I'm a huge fan of Bald, but he used to frequent pick-up artist forums before his fame on TH-cam, where he documented his sexual escapades in the countries he visited. I love his videos. There is just one thing I don't like about him, is how he always insists that all of these places he visits are completely safe to travel to. I mean the guy literally looks like an undercover agent, always wearing flashy colours, is tall and stern with great charisma. Not everyone is like that. He's less likely to be a target of theft or worse in these places than the average traveler.
I met a bunch of Eastern European kids on vacation in America and vowed to visit them. Right around the same time I got hooked on Bald. I then visited Georgia (skiing for a week in Gudauri and hanging out in Tbilisi) with my Georgian buddy and a Czech girl and had an AMAZING time! Highly recommend Tbilisi, it's unfathomably cheap yet somehow still modern. You'll feel like you're stealing with every dollar spent so tip accordingly!

Couple of months late to the party here... but I have seen almost all of Bald's videos on his channel. The things he has done for people in those remote, downtrodden areas of the world is humbling. The way he's taken care of Kolya, the way he brought supplies to that old man and his mother in Belarus (In the same area where Kolya lives, in fact), the respect that he shows towards other people and their culture... if people in the world were as warm-hearted as Mr. Bald, perhaps we truly could have some form of world peace. He is a kind, generous man with a passion for sharing his adventures and his knowledge with others, encouraging them to have that same respect and kindness as he goes. I don't care about Mr. Bald's past with bankruptcy or business. I care only that he produces amazing videos and is a genuinely kind man.

Ben is a great, funny guy. He also used to live in another part of England for a while. A small island to the south. When I was a young 17/18 year old we would drink together, make a little money grape picking at the local vineyard or explore an old abandoned hospital. Ben is a genuine person with only the best intentions for every place he visits and respects all cultures. When I first saw his videos in 2020 I was stunned that he was vlogging and doing so well after not seeing him for so long which made me question was it really him or just a guy that looked similar, that was until I heard his laugh and then that was enough confirmation for me. Now I'm an avid fan of his channel and hope he continues with the great content that has opened my eyes to the world we live in.

In a recent interview with a Czech radio station he mentioned that he didn't want to talk about his military background. The way he integrates so easily with locals in so many different countries always made me think he was either a former intelligence or special forces operative. Similar thoughts about Harald as well. Both mid 40s, well built and have a knack of getting around easily in some very sketchy countries for tourists.

His purpose seems to be to depict people around the world, and particularly in the former Soviet Union, in a positive light. He exposes some of their difficulties, often caused by irresponsible governments, and how they have coped and made the best of their situation. He is often welcomed by common people, sometimes even in their homes.
The fact when he got covid and got "special" treatment in Belarus(Or was that Serbia) by orders of the Russian embassy speaks volumes on how connected he is.
@@martinc.720 He actually made a video about it, his video about getting COVID, but took the video down because he still felt very weak and didn't want to deal with all the hate from COVID Truthers. Basically he got extremely sick in Serbia and the Russian Embassy there pulled some connections to get him into the best hospital and (if I remember correctly) was even prepared to fly him special to Russia for treatment if necessary.

Has anyone else noticed that Bald has removed his C-19 video from his channel? Great video DISSagreeable, his book is still by my bedside, a year after buying it. Love his work, he has inspired me to also travel to former Soviet nations.
It's a pity, because it was a very powerful and convincing testimony about Covid for the hoaxers out there. The only reason I can think of why he removed the video - because the Russian embassy in Serbia helped him get into a hospital. That smells a little agent-ish, but maybe the Russian government really likes him for his tourism videos. It's a mystery, and we will never know.

I love his channel, I have Cerebral Palsy and I'm unable to travel. Watching Mr. Bald travel feels like I'm there with him. Gives me that sense of freedom he has during his travels. He recently recovered from Covid-19 and started vlogging again. He is an awesome guy.

Tbh Bald has sort of a dark side apparently. I believe they even mad a subreddit about it. Some redditors state that he actually is a sociopath and a pickup artist and that the main reason he goes so often to post Soviet countries and India is for the cheap sex. Also, there are screenshots of him referring to some middle eastern countries as shitholes, and apparently he is far right? (Although reddit tends to consider everyone who isn't openly leftist to be far right, so take it with a grain of salt)

I love his videos. There is just one thing I don't like about him, is how he always insists that all of these places he visits are completely safe to travel to. I mean the guy literally looks like an undercover agent, always wearing flashy colours, is tall and stern with great charisma. Not everyone is like that. He's less likely to be a target of theft or worse in these places than the average traveler.

I met a bunch of Eastern European kids on vacation in America and vowed to visit them. Right around the same time I got hooked on Bald. I then visited Georgia (skiing for a week in Gudauri and hanging out in Tbilisi) with my Georgian buddy and a Czech girl and had an AMAZING time! Highly recommend Tbilisi, it's unfathomably cheap yet somehow still modern. You'll feel like you're stealing with every dollar spent so tip accordingly!

Couple of months late to the party here... but I have seen almost all of Bald's videos on his channel. The things he has done for people in those remote, downtrodden areas of the world is humbling. The way he's taken care of Kolya, the way he brought supplies to that old man and his mother in Belarus (In the same area where Kolya lives, in fact), the respect that he shows towards other people and their culture... if people in the world were as warm-hearted as Mr. Bald, perhaps we truly could have some form of world peace. He is a kind, generous man with a passion for sharing his adventures and his knowledge with others, encouraging them to have that same respect and kindness as he goes.
I don't care about Mr. Bald's past with bankruptcy or business. I care only that he produces amazing videos and is a genuinely kind man.

Ben is a great, funny guy. He also used to live in another part of England for a while. A small island to the south. When I was a young 17/18 year old we would drink together, make a little money grape picking at the local vineyard or explore an old abandoned hospital. Ben is a genuine person with only the best intentions for every place he visits and respects all cultures. When I first saw his videos in 2020 I was stunned that he was vlogging and doing so well after not seeing him for so long which made me question was it really him or just a guy that looked similar, that was until I heard his laugh and then that was enough confirmation for me. Now I'm an avid fan of his channel and hope he continues with the great content that has opened my eyes to the world we live in.

In a recent interview with a Czech radio station he mentioned that he didn't want to talk about his military background. The way he integrates so easily with locals in so many different countries always made me think he was either a former intelligence or special forces operative. Similar thoughts about Harald as well. Both mid 40s, well built and have a knack of getting around easily in some very sketchy countries for tourists.

He seems like a very genuine happy enlightened man with no preconceptions with no prejudice ( snobbish attitude) and he takes everyone at face value .I respect him he is not scared of anything and just rocks up anywhere.It's a pity there is not people out there like him.The world would be a better place.He is very funny as he is so crazy as he doesn't give a crap as most people would feel vunrable in the strange situations he gets himself in to .He takes a negative and makes a positive .top bloke. @@martinc.720 He actually made a video about it, his video about getting COVID, but took the video down because he still felt very weak and didn't want to deal with all the hate from COVID Truthers.
Basically he got extremely sick in Serbia and the Russian Embassy there pulled some connections to get him into the best hospital and (if I remember correctly) was even prepared to fly him special to Russia for treatment if necessary.
Notice all his videos about covid are gone now

I enjoy watching his videos. Especially when he has alinachick with him. He's generous to those he visits, is kind and without his videos I doubt most of what he shows, we would never know about the towns or the people...

I enjoy his videos: his style, his attitude, his sense of adventure. He did say recently that he learnt Russian in Portsmith, in a Russian class his mum took him too to to get him away from his gaming console.

B&B is one of those strange blokes who have an admiration for the Soviet Union in a nostalgic way, even knowing the horrors of the GULAG (not as bad as one would think). These guys still wear CCCP T-shirts and decorate their apartment walls with Soviet propaganda posters. They prefer dingy low-lit cob-webbed bars made of wood and don't add water to alcoholic beverages. For restaurants they prefer indifferent Soviet-type waiters and waitresses to the smiling cheerfulness prevalent in western countries. They are real characters. They like the openly friendly Russian women who telegraph the message that they are not to be trifled with or harassed. And they can't resist learning the complexity of the Russian language and will even read Russian novels in the original Russian. Favorite novel is Tolstoy's 'The Kreutzer Sonata', a must read for MGTOWs.

@@AeneasReborn I'm certain B&B is not a card-carrying red. I like the Russian culture myself--even the Soviet propaganda posters which I have on my wall. I've studied the Russian language for 10 years and enjoy watching Russian movies and TV shows without the English subtitles. I talk with my Russian pals on Skype 3-4 time a week. It's just a culture thing with me as I'm sure it is with B&B.

Thanks for doing this video because I'm a long time fan of bald and he is just an awesome guy and very giving too. You don't find that many people on TH-cam with a heart like his I've seen him help out a lot of people, people he just met.

It's a pity, because it was a very powerful and convincing testimony about Covid for the hoaxers out there. The only reason I can think of why he removed the video - because the Russian embassy in Serbia helped him get into a hospital. That smells a little agent-ish, but maybe the Russian government really likes him for his tourism videos. It's a mystery, and we will never know.
