5 Reasons To Rebale Hay or Straw!!

Rebaling hay or straw is not made for everyone. This video discusses 5 reasons why I chose to rebale hay or straw for my farming operation. Rebaling is a stand alone operation and not required as a traditional farm operation. It provides an opportunity to convert round hay bales into small square bales as a separate operation. This provides numerous benefits which are discussed in the video.

This is our 7th season , first 2 seasons were rounds only, but we were lucky enough to find a farmer that was in the rebaling that wanted out... That is when the Hay business became profitable....

Sadly it's all about trying to make money and keep things moving. It just never ends. It's a constant grind.

@@BradKemp62 There are quite a few Bigger Boys who is run the Baler/ Baron in the field,,..... As you said , Everything requires Extra labor...,,.. We have to use the limited labor one Process at the time, Mowing, Tedding, Raking & Baling, Hauling & stacking Then rebaling as we need, Plus the bundles from rebaling have a just baled Look, over those bundled in the field and handled 3 por 4 times......

Converting round bales into squares ensures that you are going to increase your Revenue, but it does not guarantee that you are going to increase your profits. If you do not have any employees that you are paying, then you probably have a pretty good chance of also increasing your profits as long as you know what you are doing. The biggest question that someone would have to ask themselves is how much is their time worth to them.
