    How where the log cars moved into position to be loaded without a locomotive? Did the crane reach far enough to load all the cars without moving them? Did they use the tractor to move them? I'm interesting in learning about logging operations.

      In most situations like this one a locomotive would move the cars into position for loading but they could also use a seperate cable drum on the donkey to pull them into position or even an additional donkey or caterpillar. Thanks for watching.

    What? ... no house cats? ... talk about misleading titles [giggle] ... I was holding my breath the whole time waiting for the cat to land in the middle ... BUT great work with the log sling, is that how it's done in Real Life? ... well, except for giant cats landing in the middle ...

      Different cats for different people😁. Actually I modeled a scene that had two steam donkeys set up this way, I just used diesel power instead.

      @@arcadialogger - a house cat can swat a locomotive 18 inches ... so at N-scale, that's 80 yards ... I'll leave you to guess how I know that ...
