Just like when I had an optical mouse from G.E pop a couple of AAA batteries and leaked battery acid right onto the optical sensor. The battery compartment was open, exposing the circuitry underneath. It was also forming a sort of funnel, I kid you not! The acid flowed directly onto the optical sensor, causing a sizzling noise, almost as if it was designed like that on purpose!
Reciprocating saw parkside performance broke for me - it just 'clicks' once when I pull trigger, like overcurrent, moves engine by 1 tick and then stops, is it a common problem? Nothing burned or weird inside
My B2 died after unscrewing 12 car tire bolts but using a performance 8Ah battery. On 4Ah it worked roughly 4 months ( never unscrewing something like tire bolts, only small screws and bolts ) untill that day when i was changing tires. Between those 4 months i've got new 8Ah so i was happy to try it in my Angle grinder, worked really really well. I swapped it in to this Impact driver and after 12 bolts it smoked, burnt and bye.. not working anymore. I took it appart and the whole control PCB was black. I grab my multimeter to test what is going on and the driving mosfet and some capacitors blew up, pushing 20V and full current in to the motor burning it as well.

Had the same thing happen with the parkside 18v cordless grinder, worked perfectly fine for all of 10-15 minutes😄 Think Milwaukee or dewalt is a safer bet.
Parkside is a brand that's under Lidl (European supermarket chain) - ofc, they're not a top brand by all means ... But they have some affordable shite for various stuff. Would be good for some occasional work - not for any serious construction or large volumes of work. Decently worth it if you're just starting and you need a few cheap tools
This looks like the drill is been sabotaged. It seems really convienient that the smoke comes out perfectly on camera with perfect lighting. Normally this happens off camera on a job site

I like how they put in a port for the magic smoke to escape through. Kind of them
Eh, if it didn't have a vent hole it might have kept in the magic smoke. Everyone knows it doesn't work without the magic smoke.

It's not a vent hole, it's for the belt clip accessory
That's a cooling channel actually

Every self-respecting man knows that power tools run on white smoke, and when that white smoke comes out of the tool, it stops working.
What about black smoke? Would it be cursed at that point?
Same for cars right. When it stops smoking you need more oil.

The impact wrench is only available with a hexagonal holder, which means he has already tinkered with it

In the army we used the parkside drills instead of smoke bombs when supplies were interrupted
My principal in electronics high school used to say that all electronics run on smoke and once you get the smoke out they stop running

honestly to repair this pcb requires about 3-4 hours of digging, also there are spare places for the new fets

But when i comes to powertools i use Black and Decker, no problems so far
Casi lo compro 😅😂gracias por avisar
Nekem minden Parkside gépem kitűnően működik. Talán azért, mert arra használom amire való és nem terhelem túl. Ipari célra 10x drágábbat kell venni.
Didn't you make a battery and put it in with the + and - reversed?

This thing works on magic smoke. Once it goes out, the tool dies!
