MOM with STAGE 4 CANCER Gets CLEANUP of Pool Area SATISFYING TRANSFORMATION

- This project is really special to me. When I first met this wonderful woman I quickly realized she was a special mom. Little did I know how special she really was. From what I'm told she has been a foster mom to over 100 kids for the past 30 years. She has dedicated her life to helping children and her community with more than 100 kids coming through her house. Nothing I do can ever compare to that. She has touched alot of families in a very good way.
That is why I have been committed to helping her in any way I can. We have been over to this property multiple times mowing and trying to get her property back into shape. The pool area was one of my first big projects because I think it is very important for her to enjoy this space. This is a space she can come to with some shade and enjoy her grandkids swimming. I'm hopeful the pool guys can get it back up and running and the space will be fully functional.

I was a foster child myself I grew up in group homes and then boys homes and at the end on the streets but I have reconnected with my foster parents and I go back every other week and make sure that their front and back yard is in decent order thank you guys so much for paying it forward

As I watched this man doing a good deed… I wondered about all the children’s lives she touched… just curious as to why that beautiful piece of property was allowed to get that way… I know the woman was ill, but why didn’t anyone one of them say “I want to help you”

I love your comments, ppl can be “quick” to judge without knowing the facts behind others situations and what they may be facing. I am helping a lady with stage 4/ cancer now and her yard is her happy place I make cement containers and grow a variety of flowers that I share with her and you wouldn’t believe how grateful 🥲 she is. Until we wear someone’s shoes let’s just be kind and thankful because nx time around that person needed help could be you. God bless him DOUBLE FOLD.

I want to say how much I appreciate you doing this for this lady. I don't think you really understand how amazing this is. I've been sick for a while now and I can't handle heat well at all, so cutting the grass isn't possible for me without getting really ill. My son works long hours and he cant do it. My husband is disabled and can't do it. So I know this woman really appreciates what you've done. Acts of kindness like this are so life changing.

Shes elderly, her friends may be passed on and she doesn't have any friends left in the community because they are dead. What ever her circumstances shes in need and this man stepped up and did the job.

@@TopNotchLawns it looks very hot so please drink a lot of Frozen melting orange juice as you work. Also take a wet towel and rub down your head and arms with cold water and your legs too when you are wearing shorts. You really need to keep cool when you are working so hard. Overnight freeze a block of ice and keep it in a cooler with water for your wet towel. So keep cool buddy that's the only way to go.
There is alot of loneliness out there especially with the elderly who have no one left in their age group.
Where are those kids? They can come and help. It’s very nice those guys helped her.

Amen, My mom died of cancer when she was only 55 years old back in 1991. She would have been 84 this year in October bless her soul great mom good supporter miss her so so much all of us do to this day. Rest in peace mom. 😇🌹🙏

Watching this, I had no idea there was a patio under the grass. This must have been overgrown for years. This is like the house you and your son did where you uncovered the patio. What an amazing job you've done. She will be so thrilled. God Bless you for doing this.

This is an example of what we should do for each other. I try..every year I knit mittens and hats and pin them on trees downtown for homeless.
Not supposed to mention it keep it between you and God....hat is if u want real blessings...Never boast..
My wife and I retired in 2018. We also did foster care. Over the years we had 505 kids through our home. Some for days, others for years. 4 we adopted. People ask us how we could do it. I ask them how they couldn't. We weren't angels, we were kind. And everyone can show kindness.

I had to have a moment of silence after seeing the before and after. What an incredible job! Your poor back after all of that shoveling but the stone tiles were absolutely beautiful underneath all of those weeds, roots, dirt, etc. What an amazing and humbling gift you gave this woman by clearing out this area. As a foster parent for 13 yrs I never once expected anything from my children I cared for. I have heard from some who found me and thanked me on Facebook. My reward was hearing that their lives were made better and stable under my care. They have written to tell me how our home is the example that they chose to pattern their families and marriages after. To hear that was the greatest blessing I could have ever be given, it was my most important goal I had hoped for, being a good example. I fully understand why it would be hard for them to revisit that part of their lives. They did take the time to find me and express their gratitude for my love and care. Who could ask for more ♥️
Please don’t see the foster children as ungrateful our joy comes from seeing the good that came from their association with our home.

Maybe you should see that if you see a positive maybe our world could be a little better. If everyone did for others and had compassion maybe there wouldn't be so much hate!! When you are a foster child only a few you remember because you move from house to house and also it’s hard to get back in contact with foster parents… it’s hard.. I was a foster child my entire life so it’s not that easy to stay in contact when you bounce from house to house.
Seeing those pavers emerge was wonderful. It’s like you gave her back the ability to be comfortable outside.
My mom just died two months ago of stage 4 breast cancer. People like you mean so much to those who are hurting and can't even get out of bed. May the Lord bless you above and beyond as you cherish people.

Y’all are such a blessing. I will say a prayer for her. My mother in law has stage 4 brain cancer and she is such a sweet and beautiful soul. It’s breaking our hearts. She is so strong and a fighter and I can’t imagine my children being without their nana. To all those out there having lost a loved one or battling it yourself or watching someone you love go through this heartbreak. My heart and prayers goes out to you.

*WWWWOOOWWW* .. THAT WAS A FABULOUS TRANSFORMATION! WHO KNEW SHE HAD THAT BEAUTIFUL STONE FLOOR UNDER ALL THAT VEGETATION. THAT'S AWE-STRIKING..AND I COULD SEE HOW MANY GOOD TIMES WERE HAD IN THE BACK YARD. & So glad that POOL is getting drained, cleaned & reshocked ..she can swim.. and that's very healing. Medbeds are coming too..and that will definitely heal her body altogether.

I know you tackled a gargantuan project out of the goodness of your heart. I sure hope you'll be able to return and powerwash the concrete once the pool is operational. Wish I could join you by cleaning out the flower areas bordering the pool/patio. I also hope she has family and/or friends who will see this through by clearing out all the "stuff" that's no longer being used. Please return to this property and share with us a video that shows the end results once the pool is up and running!!!

Cancer doesn’t discriminate, and it seems to me some of the kindest and most giving people are the ones that get affected by it…My Mum is one of those people…she’s battled cancer for years and recently found out it has Metastasised to her Brain. She’s gone drastically down hill over the last couple of weeks and we’ve been told she could only have weeks left to live. To watch someone you love so dearly deteriorate so quickly is something I wouldn’t wish on my greatest enemy.
Hold your loved ones close, and tell them you love them every chance you get..you never know when it could be the last time

I am amazed of these “thumb down people” here! With such kindness and caring workload he’s willing to do to help others who are in need, and they dared to give him the thumb down? Sad for those people!
One of my friends runs a non profit and he said you would be amazed at how many people try to find the bad in anything good that people do. I pray for those people. We should all lead by example.
It could also be that they thumbs downed the video because the woman’s current situation made them sad a dislike isn’t necessarily hate towards the video

@@benscoles5085 I agree. It's a problem until those same people need the help. It happens all the time when the tornadoes and hurricane hit the mid-West and Florida. Those folks abandon the socialism calls and want help from the government agency they want to abolish. I can tell you I don't trust the Red Cross after it was found that the top person was making a crazy salary some years ago and how little of a $1 was actually making it down to the needy.

Thanks for helping her. I live on the Navajo reservation in Tuba City Az. And I have cancer stage 4. And my family try to help me. I don't have running water or sewer. All rides broke down year ago and I am still fighting for my life. I thank my wife for taking care of me. And my kids. Build her lots of shade . The sun will hurt you.
The world needs more people like you. A real labor of love and a job very well done.
