Just wanted to make sure I took the correct notes, and I'm using the correct vocabulary when learning about real life warp drive theory: the ring structures around the IXS enterprise is where the "Negative vacuum density" would be at that generates the space warp that is used for propulsion by expanding spacetime aft of the vehicle and contracting spacetime in front of the vehicle. And I'm using the term "spacetime" instead of "space" because you can't really warp space without warping time along with it, for example: kind of like how GPS satellites have to compensate for the spacetime warp created by earth's gravity in order for GPS technology to function.
lol sometimes I go to limitless space institute's website JUST to watch that animation. so cool! What does IXS stand for? my current guess is "Interstellar eXperimental Ship"
when it comes to real life space warp R&D, what do you guys call the two ring structures around the hull of the IXS enterprise? As a scifi fan I'm tempted to call them warp coils or warp nacelles, since the dictionary definition of the word nacell is " A separate streamlined enclosure on an aircraft or spacecraft for sheltering the crew or cargo or for housing an engine and usually its related components."
They resemble the Vulcan ships. Also what material would we use to construct this ship. To stop it from breaking apart putting aside gravity issues and the need for a deflector shield.

awesome and the attention to details are great! I love the little NASA logo

Interplanetary exploitation ship.

Each ring would be a nacelles containing a single warp coil
warp rings

YAY 😁
This is kind of a garbage warp animation ngl.
