3:10 Shouldn't the Alcubbeire ship be using some sort of sublight engine while in orbit? It wouldn't be able to achieve or adjust orbit or do much maneuvering at all with just the warp drive since the warp drive doesn't apply any actual velocity, it would still require some sort of rocket engine or ion engine or some other means of sublight propulsion since it would only be using it's warp engine when it's actually ready to depart. It would probably have to use it's sublight drives to either kill velocity or match it's velocity with the target destination before departing as well.

Now, we're back on square one trying to develop "ships" that can travel to other worlds, that may take a while though if you look at our own history. We also encountered other races already settled on other continents, except now it's an entirely different species.
