Why Should We Go to Space?
มุมมอง 5463 หลายเดือนก่อน
Our LSI intern, Bhavi, is back in school, but she's also still working on videos designed to inform us about the future of space exploration. But she can't do that if we don't have a proper foundation on which to build. With that in mind, she has produced a video about why we send people and probes to space in the first place and how space exploration has impacted our daily lives. Also, if you ...

WARP ENGAGE
30. Yes 👍😂😊 2007 😊🎉
Keep dreaming. This will only happens when our species removes the mistakes of Musk, Donnie and Vladimir. Looks like this may happen in 3024 not now.
I love the music in this video! It's so good!
Pfft. Even at 99.999% of the speed of light, it would take something like 53 years to get to Alpha Centauri and back to Earth. The big problem is that while we will have aged "only" 53 years, Earth will have aged 3 MILLION years. It's simply not going to happen. Humans are more apt to nuke ourselves (the human parasites) into non-existence and only then will Earth and any remaining creatures thrive.
oh we're bound for the stars. We might even destroy civ first and barely survive as a species, but for as long as humans live, we will be destined for the stars. It's always been our destiny. And i just feel like yes, it's gonna happen. AI, fusion energy, and more are also our destiny. Lightspeed travel. Near lightspeed, not lightspeed, though.
**Fun fact**: The FTL ship passing by Saturn would not at all look like this for a stationary observer. What you would see instead would be an instantly appearing ship at the nearest distance, from which point two ships would emerge, one traveling very fast backwards and one traveling slowly forward. Look up "What does a faster than light ship look like?" ( v=JP7oleafg0U )
When taking about using a star material as a fuel, why not build an engine around our local star and steer it?
Fun video, but we won't get there unless we learn to slow down, grieve what we've lost in our race for more, and learn how to die wisely.
poland easter egg? why tho
So I found it interesting that the first two propulsion systems are working with known models of physics but the third left all models, even solid theories behind for science fiction. The next step would be to reach NEAR the speed of light and this would make interstellar travel viable for short ranges. Say Proxima in 10 years for example.
We need to find some spice and breed Guild Navigators
Please made a USA please sir please
the fact that we managed to get the theoretical energy requirement for an Alcubierre drive down from more than the entire universe to just 3 solar masses in a matter of years is already impressive. even though its still unrealistic, it does show its definently possible.
I thought that it was impossible to travel at the speed of light. I thought only light itself can do that since it has no mass. But I guess new discoveries reveal new things
Never Happen - Nice Dream Though .
But... what about the different forces of gravity in planets and starts and so on? I do not believe any of this.... This is bullshit!
Get off this planet Dr White!
SUPER!
And guess what? They will be poverty there too.....
Physics is the problem. And materialist science's delusion that physics is primary. It is not. And we know it isn't. "There is no matter as such." - Max Planck. The universe is electric - Nikola Tesla and Walter Russell. That matter is limited to the speed of light is due to relativity and mass. If you decouple from the third dimension altogether, dematerialize as it were, then there is no mass. No mass = no laws of physics; no laws of motion; no speed of light limit (zero mass multiplied by infinity is still zero mass). All this talk of warp drives is nonsensical. Expending untold amounts of energy to warp what is effectively an elaborate illusion/delusion (what they called "maya" in ancient Sanskrit) makes no sense whatsoever. The UFOs / UAPs have it right: they create a 4D "bubble" around their vessels. That is why and how they are not only able to traverse the cosmos in no time at all, but can perform maneuvers that appear to defy the laws of physics. They need not defying anything... there is no mass in the 4th dimension. No wind resistance. No inertia. No gravity. No acceleration. Instantaneous movement from zero to whatever "speed" is possible because the 4th Dimension exists beyond the zero point. In other words, a recognition that what we perceive as 3D space is an illusion and a projection from 4D space. Time itself is also an illusion. Thus the whole video above is nonsensical from a metaphysical, supradimensional point of view. All the problems and challenges discussed simply vanish when scientists AWAKEN their consciousness and experience faster than light travel for themselves in the supernal (foundational) dimensions of reality. It really is a matter of awakening from The Matrix of materialism, empiricism, physicality, and of course the binary duality of mechanical rational intellect. The mind as we know it and use it is a wholly insufficient instrument to comprehend the nature of reality, let alone navigate the metaphysical science needed to master interstellar travel. You are, in effect, characters in an MMORPG trying to hack the virtual reality simulation you are confined to with the AI algorithms available to you as NPCs. Meanwhile, reality is the world of THE PLAYER, that most materialist scientists are utterly ignorant of. Human 2.0 will NEVER "go incredibly fast." The time to make the critical upgrade to Human 3.0 is now. th-cam.com/video/7djDy7kdPg0/w-d-xo.html

i so loved this video..
Imagine if we stopped hiding behind religion and hatred. We could work together to do this.
right
Just got here from the future and this is not how we startravel. We use an ointment.
So... it's been two years since this video was released. How's it going?
a space ship that can bend reality would be quite cool and handy
this is why i love white people
Как говорят " мечтать не вредно"..., с таким отношением человека себе подобных.., мало вероятно, что у нас ( у людей) всё это получится!!!
You know what destroys? Liars like Carl Sagan. One letter off of satan. That can't be a coincidence. It is impossible to go anywhere near light speed. Don't give me that crap about purely theoretical relativist effects that we can somehow bend space or move space or time. We can't. We never will be able to. We will never go to the stars. They are too far away and will take centuries to reach with any technology we will ever have. Focus on earth. God has a plan. Focus on that. It's far more real than any pie in the sky notion we can leave our Solar System. Spend centuries getting somewhere we know nothing about to reach some lifeless rock that has no oxygen or any life whatsoever. It's just not worth it. Even Mars. We can get to Mars. For what? To mine dirt? We got plenty of that here. Nothing is alive on Mars. Absolutely nothing. That's just realistic. That's truth.
I think the people at lookheed, northrop and raytheon already have this kind of stuff, they just dont want to share.
By the time we get to Alpha Centauri or find any kind of life out there, mankind will no longer look like man. 😅
Incredibly immersive video! Goosebumps all over my body and tears in my eyes..
Ansiando ese momento. Gracias.
@3.2
About time to meet the covenant
@3:26 ;How can you travel faster than the speed of light ? You could travel at 60 % to 80 % the speed of light and take the effect of special relativistic effects like time dilation to reduce the travel time.
"To cross these vast distances, we have to learn to go fast", problem is that if you go fast, at some point time just stops working for you and works normally for everyone else, no?
The galaxy is humanity's birth right.
AGI will solve all of this. When we have AGI, it will train itself to intelligence levels you can't imagine and start solving our hardest problems. The technology we're going to see over the next 10 or 20 years will be mind blowing.
The prototype of the warp engine already exists, but after the first publication it became secret. You can check it yourself, the last news about it was 2 years ago. As I understand it, the warp engine can be assembled by yourself
