I’ve been following this guide for a few months because I’ve been replying Mario 64 and your playlist has been a huge help in fully completing my save file and made my replaying of the game bearable Thanks for the help
Aw wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a heartfelt comment. I love to hear that you enjoyed the commentary throughout the guide. I realize that when I make tutorial videos like these, I'm not doing anything new, and I know that there are probably thousands of videos on TH-cam that cover the same games. But it's through my commentary that I hope that I differentiate myself from all of those silent walkthroughs that you mentioned. The fact that you felt a friendly connection with me by the end is the very essence of what I try to do, and hearing you say it means a lot more to me than you might think. Seriously, I thank you. Super Mario Sunshine is one of the most magical games I ever played. Super Mario 64 was cool and all, but Sunshine was on another level for me. I was 13 when it was released, and my love for video games was never greater than around that time in my life. The Gamecube, for me, was a golden age of gaming, and there are many titles on that console that make me nostalgic like nothing else. I'm genuinely excited for you to play Sunshine for the first time. I realize that you probably wont see it with the same child-like wonder that I did when I was a kid, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the game all the same. I certainly plan to make a guide on Super Mario Sunshine someday, and in fact, ever since I started making tutorial videos that specific project has been on my mind. I think I've waited to start it because I've seen some of these N64 guides as 'practice', and it's like I'm trying to get better at this before starting some of those bigger, more-important-to-me, Gamecube game guides. I'm currently working on a couple of projects in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but once I'm done I think I'll finally move to Gamecube - I'll be sure to make Sunshine the first new series. In any case though, sorry for my ramblings. Thanks a lot for checking out the series and the nice comment!😄
@HaskieGaming You've absolutely succeeded in standing out to me, and I'm sure plenty of others! It doesn’t matter how short or simple the guide was, the commentary was comforting ^^ I really can't express that enough! And I am so, SO excited to check it out even more!! Super Mario Sunshine came out a year before I was born, and the only GameCube game I ever played growing up was Luigi's Mansion (absolute banger of a game), so I feel like I've truly missed out with never getting the opportunity to play it earlier. But regardless, my age won't stop me from loving a game, and I'm certain I'll have an amazing time when I do play it!! I can't wait to see future guides, especially for OOT as well! I've beaten the game before, but never 100% completed it (the Gold Skulltulas are an absolute pain in the ass), so I might actually need to do that when you're finished with it ^^ I'm very happy my comment meant so much, and once again, thank YOU! 🩷🩷
