The idea that SAF only had an Adaptability score of 12 is sheer madness. I think that's probably one of the things that will have hindered him in game as the Sim Alex prob didn't change it up much when he was losing, leading to his sackings. IRL SAF always rose to new challenges to return to the top spot. FM did him a little dirty there.
Perhaps it's more to reflect he only managed a few clubs in England and Scotland (and I guess partly because ordinarily he's not a manager in the game, so his attributes aren't looked at, I assume they're just carried over from the last time he was a manager in the game) but I agree, a bit low!
Adaptability only relates to the ability of an individual to adapt to moving abroad in FM, so it's fair
@@ImtheHitcher SAF dominated in his home country, winning multiple league and domestic trophies plus European trophies, then moved to another country and dominated that even more, winning even more league & domestic trophies, plus Europe. So 12 is still way low given the evidence.

If you are continuing these videos I'd love to see Sir Bobby Robson beginning with Fulham again and see where he goes from there and see if he can do one better than real life and win a prem title or win a world cup

@@TomFM I think the only problem would be choosing where he starts will it be fulham where he was sacked very quickly or Ipswich where he was given a fair shot to start his career properly

I was going to suggest Warnock, but see that was already done. Ian Holloway or Harry Redknapp would be an interesting one though.
I would love an experiment where you build a league pyramid combining Scotland, Ireland, N. Ireland, and Wales. Then give them a tv deal worth 2b for a 20 team top flight and see if it can rival the Prem
i think it might have been better if his reputation was reduced from the 4.5 stars he started with? that way he would have had to spend more time in scotland and work his way up like he did irl! i love these types of video though :D

Sir Alex was not the tactician, that was his right hand man job, sir Alex was the guy that made decisions.
Bill Shankley would be a fantastic one, but I have no idea if it can be done
i would love to see a video where you put a hole first division of a european nation in the non league of england and than sim like 50-100 years (if you do this idea pls do romania i would love to see how they would be doing)

He was so lucky which people seem to forget… after spending loads of money he was about to get sacked in 1990, only then to fortunately win the fa cup that year.
Then came the class of 92 which once again saved his job

Can someone tell me where to view a clubs most started 11 for a current season? I can't find it anywhere but always see it in people's videos
Idea: simulate the last World Cup, only each country is represented by their best local team.
I popped for the unexpected Count Dankula.
Bring back Bobby Robson, maybe one video as a player, and then one as a Manager. Could be amazing, i would definetly watch them both, giant legend in the football industry
Think you shouldve given him at least 15 for tactical knowledge but a great concept none the less
I just let the game assign him his attributes, but perhaps I'll edit them a bit in future!

You can't forget that in his prime SAF had the best generation of youngsters in Man UTD which stay loyal to the club and he worked there for 27 years. IMO you should start his career in Man UTD and then check the results. Arsene Wenger must be next one

In one of my seasons, I had West Ham get relegated but they won the Europa League. So they were a Championship team in the Champions league😂
Anyone else spot Southampton going from UECL->UEL->UCL->UCL in consecutive seasons without finishing high enough in the league meaning they one the UECL the UEL and the UCL in back to back to back seasons 🤯 just thought it was mental for a team to do that let alone Southampton

I see a trend in your videos. A lot of times tottenham pops up as a place where the top talent goes. Even in my save game, city sort of died off, but spurs are signing players like gavi, pedri, that young rennes midfielder ducre?
