I purchased it a few days ago and the color match on elf’s website is my perfect color. they match to the foundation + color that one currently uses! I Like you, I don’t use a primer and/or setting spray, but I do use a moisturizer. Unfortunately, the soft glam pilled even after allowing time for my moisturizer to soak in😩 once I got all that pilling wiped off, I had to apply more for coverage in my red areas and it looked beautiful! I want to continue using it, but at 56 years old, I’m not willing to give up my cerave moisturizer 🤔… Does anyone know if applying with a brush would prevent pilling? I’m a finger foundation girl, too!!

Vasculitis, as if you don't have enough on your plate. I'm glad it resolved and hopefully it doesn't interfere with your chemo drug. The Soft Glam palette is one of my favorites for sure. Your makeup is just lovely. That foundation is very pretty on your skin. I don’t use liquid foundation. I like powder foundation. When I use liquid foundation I also use my fingers. It looked really good on you! Not as good as the Nars, but close. I have never found a drugstore foundation that worked for me....I have tried some but I always go back to my tried and true. It depends what foundation I am using but I like the fingers too. It must be something about mature ladies....back in the day it was hard to find brushes and sponges! I had a hard time blending it....but wow, that is a lovely satin sheen it has! I love the Tier Tier Foundation as of late to film in...but if there is a new foundation I love to give it a go. Hi Melissa happy 4th July. I like applying my foundation with fingers too, but I will go over with a brush or sponge if I think I need to (sometimes I can apply too much or it needs buffed in depending on the product). I think you can press foundation into the skin better with fingers and also warm it up. Many famous makeup artists used their fingers for complexion (including Lisa Eldridge) for many years. I thought it looked nice on you and I am glad you got a good shade match. In the pale shades it’s really yellow so I don’t think it would be for me (I am ultra cool toned). Best wishes x

I ordered it and will get it Sunday - anxious to see what the hype is all about - I have dry skin tho. Dealing with clean up from a 78mph wind storm last week that took down trees all over town - finally getting someone out to help me with it. What a mess - winds are as destructive as tornadoes, only they cover more area. And just had cataract surgery the day of the storm so I've got a lot of work to do outside now that I got the go-ahead. I can’t wait to try that elf foundation but I haven’t been able to find it in Canada yet. I’ve been using their last foundation, the Flawless Satin Finish and I’ve loved that for years now. I hope this one works as well or better because it looks like they’ve discontinued the one I’ve been using. I’m 64 and I too always use my fingers to apply foundation. Also, zero product waste. @Melissa55 it didn't come back. They ran all kinds of blood work. They sent me for a CT scan with contrast. I pray yours doesn't come back.

Vasculitis, as if you don't have enough on your plate. I'm glad it resolved and hopefully it doesn't interfere with your chemo drug. The Soft Glam palette is one of my favorites for sure. I like the look you created. I've been trying to work through some foundations and use them up before I buy any new ones. I hope you and Doug have a wonderful 4th of July.
Your makeup is just lovely. That foundation is very pretty on your skin. I don’t use liquid foundation. I like powder foundation. When I use liquid foundation I also use my fingers. It feels awkward using a brush or sponge. Loved the eye makeup also. You look so glamorous with your gorgeous hair & makeup. Love you, Lucy

Age 60. 👩🏻🦳 I prefer BK beauty contoured foundation brush 101 for any liquid foundation. My favorite is ILIA super serum skin tint Spf 40.
I ordered the #25 and it matches my skin perfectly and I love the $8 price tag! I’m gonna put it on one side of my face and my usual Clinique foundation on the other, just as a comparison.
It looked really good on you! Not as good as the Nars, but close. I have never found a drugstore foundation that worked for me....I have tried some but I always go back to my tried and true. It depends what foundation I am using but I like the fingers too. It must be something about mature ladies....back in the day it was hard to find brushes and sponges! This was lots of fun, Melissa! I love trying new foundations!!! You looked beautiful in the pre-final look and the after!!! I bought the elf foundation and found it a little patchy. I had a hard time blending it....but wow, that is a lovely satin sheen it has! I love the Tier Tier Foundation as of late to film in...but if there is a new foundation I love to give it a go. Melissa, have you ever tried Revlon Colorstay makeup for combination/oily skin? I'm 56 with tons of wrinkles and It's better than Nars Light Reflecting foundation on my skin!

Hi Melissa happy 4th July. I like applying my foundation with fingers too, but I will go over with a brush or sponge if I think I need to (sometimes I can apply too much or it needs buffed in depending on the product). I think you can press foundation into the skin better with fingers and also warm it up. Many famous makeup artists used their fingers for complexion (including Lisa Eldridge) for many years.
I thought it looked nice on you and I am glad you got a good shade match. In the pale shades it’s really yellow so I don’t think it would be for me (I am ultra cool toned). Best wishes x

I bought the Elf Soft Glam foundation directly from Elf. At first, I wasn't a fan. But I found that for me, it worked better without a primer.
The foundation looks stunning on you, along with the Soft Glam shadow palette. Fabulous finished look.

I ordered it and will get it Sunday - anxious to see what the hype is all about - I have dry skin tho. Dealing with clean up from a 78mph wind storm last week that took down trees all over town - finally getting someone out to help me with it. What a mess - winds are as destructive as tornadoes, only they cover more area. And just had cataract surgery the day of the storm so I've got a lot of work to do outside now that I got the go-ahead. I can’t wait to try that elf foundation but I haven’t been able to find it in Canada yet. I’ve been using their last foundation, the Flawless Satin Finish and I’ve loved that for years now. I hope this one works as well or better because it looks like they’ve discontinued the one I’ve been using. I’m 64 and I too always use my fingers to apply foundation. Also, zero product waste.
